METHOD FOR RECYCLING OF TILE MATERIAL
A method recycles tile material including compressed mineral fibre material and being in the form of at least one of waste material generated during manufacturing of tiles, residual material generated during installation of tiles, and tiles obtained from installed tile systems after end of life. The method includes collecting the tile material, conversion of the tile material into a plurality of body members, assembling a finite baseboard by arranging the plurality of body members on a carrier layer and fixing them thereto, and conversion of the baseboard into at least two tiles.
ADHESIVE TAPE
The present invention relates to an adhesive tape comprising a base material layer made of a flat yarn cloth, a first film layer made of a thermoplastic resin film layered on one surface of the base material layer, a second film layer made of a thermoplastic resin film layered on the other surface of the base material layer, and an adhesive layer layered on the surface of the second film layer opposite to the base material layer, in which the first film layer and the second film layer both contains a pigment.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR THERMALLY ADAPTIVE MATERIALS
An adaptive textile that includes a plurality of a first fiber having a first expansion coefficient and a plurality of a second fiber having a second expansion coefficient. There is a difference between the expansion coefficient of the first fiber and the expansion coefficient of the second fiber; at least one of the first or second fibers is a twisted coil actuator; and linear displacement of the twisted coil actuator causes the adaptive textile to bend.
FRACTURE FILM FOR PEELABLE MEMBRANE CONTAINERS
The invention comprises a fracture film for sealing a peelable membrane to a container comprising a first layer of high density polyethelene, a second layer of polybutene-1/ethylene-vinyl acetate, wherein the second layer is bonded to the first layer, and a third layer of ethylene-acrylic acid, wherein the third layer is bonded to the second layer.
Composite structural component and method of making same
A composite includes a board. The board includes: a pair of corrugated layers, each corrugated layer being formed from two corrugated sheets bonded together; and a cardboard honeycomb disposed between and bonded to the corrugated layers, the honeycomb being orientated such that the cells extend between the corrugated layers. The board can be cut using conventional machinery without fraying [thereby requiring little or no sanding] and can be edgetaped without being crushed using conventional edge taping machinery.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A PANEL INCLUDING A REINFORCEMENT SHEET
A method for manufacturing a panel, the panel having a thickness in a range of 1.5 to 6.5 mm and including at least one substrate layer and a printed decoration layer covered by a protection layer. The method includes the steps of providing a granulate containing PVC and fillers, and having a cylindrical shape with a cylinder diameter in the range of 2.5 to 3.5 mm and a cylinder height in the range of 0.2-2.0 mm, melting the granulates and forming the substrate layer by means of molten granulates. The layer have a thickness of 1 to 3.5 mm. The method also includes forming a laminated complex by applying the printed decoration layer and the protection layer to at least the substrate layer by laminating or coating.
WINDOW AND DISPLAY DEVICE COMPRISING THE SAME
A window for a display includes a first layer including polyurethane, a second layer disposed on the first layer and the second layer having a Young's modulus in a range of about 3 GPa to about 10 GPa, a third layer disposed on the second layer, and a hard coating layer disposed on the third layer.
Adornment assembly for an article and method of forming an adornment assembly
An adornment assembly for an article having a base assembly made up of at least one layer, each with a thickness between oppositely facing surfaces. One of the oppositely facing surfaces faces an article surface to which the adornment assembly is secured. The at least one layer defines at least a first receptacle. The adornment assembly further has a plurality of discrete components each with a thickness between oppositely facing surfaces. At least first and second of the discrete components are placed in the at least first receptacle so that one of the oppositely facing surfaces on each of the first and second discrete components is exposed for viewing with the adornment assembly secured to an article.
Carbon flocked tape
Arrangements related to carbon flocked tape are described. The flocked tape can include a first adhesive, a substrate, a second adhesive, and a plurality of fibers. The substrate can be formed from any suitable metal, polymer, and/or natural material. The fibers can be formed from milled recycled carbon fibers. The carbon fibers can be connected within the tape via an electrostatic flocking process. The flocked tape can allow for application, removal, and re-application. The carbon flocked tape can provide several benefits, such as electric and/or thermal conductivity, noise and vibration reduction, insulation and shielding, and altered fluid dynamics.
POLYOLEFIN-BASED RESIN FILM
A polyolefin-based resin film containing (a) 90 to 97 parts by weight of at least one polyolefin-based resin selected from a propylene-ethylene block copolymer and a propylene- olefin random copolymer and (b) 3 to 10 parts by weight of an ethylene-propylene copolymer elastomer, wherein the propylene- olefin random copolymer is present in an amount of 0 to 50% by weight relative to the total amount of the propylene-ethylene block copolymer and the propylene- olefin random copolymer, and the polyolefin-based resin film has a thermal shrinkage ratio in a longitudinal direction of 3% or more and 20% or less, a thermal shrinkage ratio in a rectangular direction to a width direction of 1% or less, and a yield stress in the longitudinal direction of 150 MPa or more and 250 MPa or less.
