THERMOFORMABLE DECORATIVE MATERIAL
A thermoformable decorative material for an automotive interior includes: a decorative layer including a textile substrate; a digitally printed design disposed on at least one side of the textile substrate and having dispersion ink and/or pigment ink; and an overlay adhesive coating applied to the digitally printed design. The overlay adhesive coating has an adhesive that includes polyurethane and/or polyacrylate.
TRACTION POWER SIMULATION
Systems and methods are provided for simulating traction power and control in transportation systems under design conditions and/or utilizing real-time data.
QUANTUM-DOT CONTAINING RESIN SHEET OR FILM, METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME, AND WAVELENGTH CONVERSION MEMBER
To provide a quantum dot-containing resin sheet or film, a method for producing the same, and a wavelength conversion member that can, in particular, solve the problem of aggregation of the quantum dots and the problem with the use of a scattering agent, suppress a decrease in light conversion efficiency, and improve the light conversion efficiency of a resin molded product containing quantum dots. The quantum dot-containing resin sheet or film of the present invention includes a stack of a plurality of resin layers, at least one of the resin layers containing quantum dots, and the plurality of resin layers is integrally molded through co-extrusion.
Delamination-resistant heat-shrinkable multilayer oxygen barrier film containing polyester
A first multilayer shrink film has an outer polyester layer, an inner O.sub.2-barrier layer, and a tie layer between the polyester layer and the barrier layer. A second multilayer film an outer polyester layer, an inner polyamide layer, and a tie layer between the polyester and polyamide layers. The tie layer comprises a styrene-based polymer, and the tie layer in the second film comprises an anhydride functional styrene based copolymer. Included are a packaging article comprising the film, a packaging process utilizing the film, a process for making the film, and a packaged product comprising a packaging article made the film, with a product inside the package.
Multi-layer web and process for forming scored lidding film for blister packages
Multi-layer web and mechanical scoring process for forming lidding film for push through blister packages. The web is configured to resist the tensile forces encountered during manufacturing processes, including slitting, rewinding and heat sealing processes. A simplified web conversion process for creating mechanically scored lidding film for blister packages is provided at reduced investment and operational costs compared to prior art systems.
Polyester film incorporating silicone for release of canned meat products
Embodiments herein relates to a Bisphenol A-free multi-layer biaxially oriented polyester (BOPET) film, for lamination on metal sheets, which could be used for food containers. The BOPET film has at least one outer release layer, which aids in the release of food, such as a high protein food source, when food is cooked and sterilized in direct contact with the outer release layer. The BOPET film can be laminated to metals used in the manufacture of food containers with the outer release layer being exposed to allow a direct food contact between the surface of the outer release layer and food. More particularly, the invention relates to a novel outer release layer resin composition comprising an ultra high molecular weight siloxane polymer and a polyethylene trephthalate resin; and an alkali-metal phosphate and a phosphoric acid compound added, during polymerization of the outer release layer resin composition, as a catalyst/additive package to the ingredients forming the outer release layer resin composition. A wax component can be added in the outer release layer, for more robust release performance.
Multilayer film including foam layer and gas barrier layer
A multilayer film includes an outer foam layer and a gas barrier layer. The multilayer film may also include at least one tie layer and at least one inner layer, and can be configured to have various film layer constructions. For example, the multilayer film can be configured as a five-layer, six-layer, or seven-layer films. The multilayer film can provide unique texture, softness, quietness, gas barrier properties, light weight and low cost per volume. Further, one or more layers of the multilayer film can contain a vinyl-bond rich triblock copolymer to provide sound absorbing properties.
Cold sintering composites and ceramics
Cold sintering of materials includes using a process of combining at least one inorganic compound, e.g., ceramic, in particle form with a solvent that can partially solubilize the inorganic compound to form a mixture; and applying pressure and a low temperature to the mixture to evaporate the solvent and densify the at least one inorganic compound to form sintered materials.
MULTILAYER FILM
Embodiments provide a multilayer film in which: a first acrylic resin layer (α1), an aromatic polycarbonate resin layer (β), and a second acrylic resin layer (α2) are directly laminated in the stated order; the aromatic polycarbonate resin constituting the aromatic polycarbonate resin layer (β) is a product of ester exchange between a polycarbonic acid ester of an aromatic dihydroxy compound and a low-crystalline or amorphous aromatic polyester; and the relationships (Tβ−Tα1)≤30 and (Tβ−Tα2)≤30 (where Tal is the glass transition temperature of the acrylic resin constituting the first acrylic resin layer (α1), Tα2 is the glass transition temperature of the acrylic resin constituting the second acrylic resin layer (α2), Tβ is the glass transition temperature of the aromatic polycarbonate resin constituting the aromatic polycarbonate resin layer (β), and all of the temperatures are measured in degrees Celsius) are satisfied. The glass transition temperature of the aromatic polycarbonate resin should be 100-140° C.
