A fire-retardant polyurethane foam mattress and a method of manufacture thereof are provided. The mattress comprises a polyurethane foam prepared from a composition comprising at least a polyol, an organic polyisocyanate and a fire retardant and is provided with an outer layer encapsulating the polyurethane foam, the outer layer comprising a waterproof membrane of silicone rubber. A fire-resistant barrier layer is disposed substantially between the waterproof membrane and the polyurethane foam.
BATTERY PACKAGING MATERIAL
Provided is a battery packaging material that comprises a laminated body formed by sequentially stacking at least a base layer, a metal layer, and a sealant layer, and that has a thin overall thickness, and has excellent formability and piercing strength. This battery packaging material comprises a laminated body formed by sequentially stacking at least a base layer, a metal layer, and a sealant layer, with the overall thickness of the laminated body being 50-80 μm, and the ratio of the sum of the thicknesses of the base layer and the metal layer with respect to the overall thickness of the laminated body being in a range of 0.380-0.630.
RESIN LAMINATE FILM, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME, AND MELAMINE DECORATIVE PANEL
The present invention provides an acrylic resin laminate film having excellent bonding properties, as well as an excellent appearance and resistance to water whitening. The present invention is a laminate film provided with a resin layer (I) comprising an acrylic resin composition (A) or a fluororesin composition (B), and a second resin layer (II) comprising a resin composition (C) that contains an acid anhydride copolymer (C-1) and acrylic rubber particles (C-2).
Multilayer Polyethylene Geomembrane Liners
Multilayer polyethylene (PE) geomembrane liners for unconventional thermal conditions and methods of making them are disclosed. The liners have N co-extruded stacked layers, each layer being made from a PE masterbatch composition comprising a given amount of PE resin and additives, and of a PE metallocene based resin free of acid neutralizer compounds. Also disclosed are customized multilayer PE geomembrane liners of N co-extruded stacked layers, each layer being made from a PE masterbatch comprising a specific additive providing specific behaviour property to the layer; wherein at least two of the N layers comprise a different specific additive in order to provide a geomembrane liner having at least two layers with different behaviour property. The liners have a water-bath aging performance for about 6 months immersion at about 80° C. per ASTM D5322—modified for water, such that about 80% of high pressure OIT value retained per ASTM D5885.
MULTILAYER INTERLAYER AND GLASS LAMINATE
A multilayer interlayer containing a specified ionomer skin layer and an acoustic damping intermediate layer, and laminate containing such interlayer are provided, wherein the laminate has a desirable combination of sound insulating, flexural strength and optical properties suitable for use in transportation and architectural end uses.
ARCHITECTURAL MEMBRANE
A composite fabric laminate can include an open mesh fabric, a first continuous film comprising a fluoropolymer, and a second continuous film comprising a fluoropolymer. The fluoropolymer of the first continuous film and the fluoropolymer of the second continuous films can be in direct contact with one another. A method of forming a composite fabric laminate that includes disposing an open mesh fabric between a first continuous film and a second continuous film, each comprising an at least partially unsintered fluoropolymer film, to form a composite; laminating the composite at a pressure of at least 100 psig and a temperature of no greater than 350° C.; and sintering the laminated composite to form the composite fabric laminate.
LINER FILM
The invention relates to gusseted plastic film with a thickness of 50 to 200 microns, comprising a polyolefin homopolymer or copolymer, a polyether copolymer and a layer comprising oxygen barrier polymer.
VACUUM LAMINATION METHOD FOR FORMING A CONFORMALLY COATED ARTICLE AND ASSOCIATED CONFORMALLY COATED ARTICLES FORMED THEREFROM
Vacuum lamination methods for forming conformally coated articles having a preformed lamination layer conformally coated to or on an object such as an LED array are provided. These vacuum lamination methods utilize a single heating step to heat a middle portion of the preformed lamination layer to a flowable condition prior to the preformed lamination layer being conformally coated over the article, such as the array of light emitting diodes disposed on an inner portion of a first side of a submount wafer.
Radiant barrier
A radiant barrier has a layer of a flexible polymer, such as TPO, and a layer of metallic aluminum bonded thereto. A reinforcement layer, such as a fiberglass scrim, and a layer of adhesive, such as EVA, may be used to strengthen the barrier and prevent de-lamination. LDPE may be incorporated into the TPO to increase strength. The barrier may also be a moisture barrier. The layers may be laminated by a heated roll set and the aluminum applied by vapor deposition.
Display device and method of manufacturing the same
A display device may include a display panel, a first adhesive layer attached on one surface of the display panel, a polymer layer attached on the display panel via the first adhesive layer, a second adhesive layer attached on a surface other than a surface of the first adhesive layer which has been attached on the one surface of the display panel, and a heat sink layer attached on the polymer layer via the second adhesive layer, wherein the at least one of the first adhesive layer, the polymer layer, and the second adhesive layer includes a color changing ink.
