Described herein are organosilicon modification layers and associated deposition methods and inert gas treatments that may be applied on a sheet, a carrier, or both, to control van der Waals, hydrogen and covalent bonding between a sheet and carrier. The modification layers bond the sheet and carrier together such that a permanent bond is prevented at high temperature processing as well as maintaining a sufficient bond to prevent delamination during high temperature processing.

Method for manufacturing product with bright surface

A method of manufacturing a bright surface product comprises a step of performing electroless plating to form a first metal film on a base coat layer formed on a substrate, a step of performing electrolytic plating to form a second metal film thereon so that the bonding strength between each film of a multi-layered metal film comprising the first metal film and the second film is higher than the bonding strength between the base coat layer and the first metal layer, a step of integrally and discontinuously segmentalizing the multi-layered metal film with cracks to form an island-like metal film comprising a collection of fine multi-layered metal regions with island-like structures; and a step of forming a translucent top coat layer to cover the fine multi-layered metal regions of the island-like metal film and enter into the cracks to make contact with the base coat layer.

Fireworthy sealants may have a variety of compositions and be made by a variety of techniques. In certain implementations, a fireworthy sealant may include a body comprised of a cured, tacky, soft, deformable non-adhesive gel. The gel body may have an upper surface, a lower surface, and a perimeter, wherein the upper and lower surfaces of the gel body, in an uncompressed state, define a body thickness. The sealant may, in an uncompressed state, be dimensioned to fit in a first opening between a wall and an aircraft component surface and deformable when under compression to fit in a second opening, smaller than the first opening. The sealant may be flame retardant and produce low smoke density and low smoke toxicity.

ACRYLIC MULTILAYER FOIL WITH IMPROVED MECHANICAL PROPERTIES AND A HIGH WEATHERING RESISTANCE

An acrylic multilayer foil includes a layer in which silica particles are uniformly distributed in an acrylic polymer matrix and at least one further layer. Due to adhesive promoting properties of the layer containing silica particles, the multilayer foil can be easily coated or laminated onto a substrate. The foil has a high weathering resistance and excellent mechanical properties. Therefore, the multilayer foil is highly suitable for surface-protection of materials such as polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and for use in high-pressure laminates (HPLs).

HOSE, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING HOSE, AND HYDRAULIC PUMP
