COMPOSTABLE LAMINATE STRUCTURE
A compostable laminate for food wrap and method for making same. The wrap can include a first layer of paper material, a second layer of paper material, and a series of coatings between the paper materials. The coatings include a first flood coating having water and/or barrier properties, a second flood coating having water and/or oil barrier properties, and a third coating that only partially covers the second flood coating. None of the first, second and third coatings comprise a thermoplastic or polyolefin, and are made substantially from one or more biodegradable and/or compostable materials.
Drypad with rapid absorption and liquid removal
Disclosed is a liquid removal drypad and liquid removal system suitable for absorbing and removing liquid produced by an individual. The drypad can include one or more perforated conduits arranged with an absorbent material. A source of reduced pressure can be connected to the one or more perforated conduits to remove liquid from the drypad. The drypad can be positioned under a patient and liquid produced by the individual can be removed by applying reduced pressure to the drypad. The drypad can be made by combining one or more conduits with an absorbent material.
COATED PAPERBOARD AND A TRAY MADE THEREFROM
A coated paperboard including a single-ply paperboard substrate having a first major side and a second major side, and having an internal sizing agent incorporated therein, and a barrier coating on the first major side of the single-ply paperboard substrate, the barrier coating having an elastic modulus of at least 1.5 GPa.
ARTICLE OF FOOTWEAR HAVING A DEGRADABLE COMPONENT
An article of footwear is provided that includes a sole structure and an upper attached to the sole structure. The upper includes an exterior layer and a base layer, and the exterior layer includes a biodegradable layer and a biologically active agent capable of biodegrading the biodegradable layer.
Eco-Friendly Composite Packaging Bag
An eco-friendly composite packaging bag has two layers. Inner layer is a polyethylene glycol film. Outer layer is degradable paper. Two layers are combined using degradable glue. The bag is sealed using degradable materials and covered with a moisture-proof layer. The moisture-proof layer is also degradable.
MULTILAYER STRUCTURES, STAND-UP POUCHES, AND METHODS THEREOF
A multilayer structure may include a polyethylene-based polymeric film comprising: a sealing layer; at least one middle layer; and a printing layer; and an external layer of ultraviolet or electron beam curable ink or varnish cured on the printing layer of the polyethylene-based polymeric substrate, wherein the multilayer structure has a thermal surface resistance such that when sealing bars are applied to the polyethylene-based polymeric film in cycles of sealing of no more than 2 seconds and at a temperature corresponding to the melting temperature of the polyethylene-based polymeric film, the sealing bars remain free of polymer.
THERMAL INSULATION LINERS
Provided herein are products, methods, and kits, for use in regulating the temperature of an object. The present invention relates to thermal insulating liners for regulating the temperature of perishable goods or temperature sensitive products. The thermal insulating liners generally may be dimensioned to fit within a container. The thermal insulating liners may be quickly collapsed and reconstructed to improve stackability and diminish the amount of space required to store the thermal insulating liners prior to use.

RECYCLEABLE, RENEWABLE, OR BIODEGRADABLE PACKAGE
A package for a single unit dose detergent, the package having an outer shell and an inner structure. The outer shell and the inner structure comprise of a biodegradable material. The inner structure has one or more divided sections enabled to contain one or more single unit dose detergents articles. At least one of the one or more divided sections comprises a protuberance extending from a surface facing an inner surface of the outer shell.
Biodegradable laminate
A biodegradable laminate, wherein a polyvinyl alcohol resin layer is laminated on at least one surface of an aliphatic polyester resin layer through an adhesive layer, which is excellent in biodegradability and gas barrier properties, and also excellent in interlayer adhesiveness, is obtained. The adhesive layer comprises, as a main component, a polyester resin (A) which has a polar group and is obtained by graft polymerization of an ,-unsaturated carboxylic acid or an anhydride thereof on a biodegradable polyester resin (A) comprising at least one structural unit selected from structural units represented by the following general formulae (1), (2), and (3): ##STR00001##
