A stretchable conductor includes a substrate with a first major surface, wherein the substrate is an elastomeric material. An elongate wire is on the first major surface of the substrate; the wire includes a first end and a second end, and further includes at least one arcuate region between the first end and the second end. At least one portion of the arcuate region of the wire in the region has a first surface area portion embedded in the surface of the substrate and a second surface area portion unembedded on the substrate and exposed in an amount sufficient to render at least an area of the substrate in the region electrically conductive. The unembedded second surface portion of the arcuate region may lie above or below a plane of the substrate. Composite articles including a stretchable conductor in durable electrical contact with a conductive fabric are also disclosed.

The pipe has an outer surface with the fluoropolymer composition disposed about the outer surface of the pipe for providing a thermal insulation layer. The fluoropolymer composition includes a fluoroplastic polymer present in an amount of at least 50 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the fluoropolymer composition. The fluoropolymer composition also includes a fluoroelastomer present in an amount of a fluoroelastomer present in an amount of from about 20 to about 50 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the fluoropolymer composition. The fluoropolymer composition has a thermal conductivity less than about 0.20 W/mK at 205° C.

The laminated body has a thickness of 25 to 500 μm. In the laminated body, both surfaces of each metal foil are closely laminated to the resin layers, and the relationships: 60≤σY≤150, and 1.4≤σb/σY are satisfied, in which σY represents a nominal stress (MPa) at a nominal strain of 5% when a tensile test according to JIS K 7127: 1999 is performed on the laminated body, and σb represents a nominal stress (MPa) at a nominal strain at which the metal foil in the laminated body is broken when a tensile test according to JIS K 7127: 1999 is performed on the laminated body.
