The present invention is related to packages to the food industry. Particularly, it is related to natural active packages for preserving bakery products against microorganism damage. More particularly, the invention is related to an antifungal active package comprising a multilayer polymer film with an internal polymer coating comprising mustard oil as natural essential oil having antifungal properties, useful for extending the half-life of celiac bakery products, preferably, a celiac bread.

The present invention provides a laminate for blister packs which is not susceptible to molding failures even if a pocket is formed to a certain depth in order to pack the contents of large drug or the like. The present invention provides a laminate for blister packs, the laminate having a substrate film, an adhesive resin layer having a thickness of 25-100 μm, and an absorption film in this order. The absorption film comprises an absorption layer including a thermoplastic resin and an inorganic absorbent.

A clothing item absorbing structure, in particular to a washable and reusable structure, for the absorption of body fluids in which at least a set of four overlapping layers are provided. A first layer has high density and porosity synthetic fibers suitable for the entry of body fluids. A second layer has a combination of hydrophilic and hydrophobic fibers with a plurality of protruding channels for dispersing body fluids. A third layer of cellulosic fibers neutralizes odors and absorb moisture. A fourth layer has a polymer, microporous and liquid impermeable membrane. And a strip connects along the periphery of said set of layers, wherein the strip together with the fourth layer seals said set of layers to prevent leakage of body fluids. In certain embodiments, the disclosure relates to underwear that incorporates the absorbing structure.

A flexible panel in a sealable bag for disaster recovery has permeable inner layers and an impermeable outer layer affixed together so as to provide a plurality of cavities for receiving sorbent material. The cavities are arranged in a pattern across the flexible panel. A port is shown extending through all of the layers of the flexible panel. The port is used for introducing into and removing gas and/or liquid from the bag. The flexible panel may have one or more electronic components operable to monitor or control the chemical environment in the bag. The components may be affixed or printed on internal layers of the bag, such as: a conductor, a heater, a processor, a communications transmitter, a communications receiver and a GPS receiver. A remote module in electrical and/or wireless communication with the bag is operable to monitor and control the chemical environment in the bag.

The present invention is directed to a thermoplastic packaging film coated with an antimicrobial coating, a method for the preparation of the coated film and packaging articles made with the film.

A waste collection apparatus having an absorbent pad having opposing outermost layers, comprising a permeable layer and an opposing substantially leak proof layer; the absorbent pad comprising at least one innermost layer of waste absorbing material sandwiched and completely enclosed between the opposing outermost layers and completely filling a volume therebetween extending to the outer peripheral border, which has an interior passageway, a draw tape therein, and a plurality of outside cut off corners having adjacent interior passageway openings; the draw tape having a length greater than that of the outer peripheral border; the draw tape routed through the adjacent interior passageway openings exposing the draw tape at the outside cut off corners; the waste collection apparatus forming a bag, when the draw tape is pulled taut.

A multi-layered disposable protection sheet includes an upper portion and a lower portion including an upper absorbent layer, a middle soaker layer and a lower waterproof backing layer, the lower portion further including a cutout that when lifted, provides an opening to enable compatibility with a child safety belt system.

A package system is provided that includes a main body having a bilayer thermoplastic laminated film structure including a first layer and a second layer with an adhesive layer disposed between the first layer and the second layer. The main body can further include an array of holes and a removable panel disposed on the array of holes. The removable panel can include a plurality of cutouts, where each one of the cutouts corresponds to one of the holes. The removable panel can be configured to be selectively pulled off the main body.
