The multilayer films that include the composition may provide low initial opening force and improved reclose adhesion through multiple reclose cycles. The present disclosure also includes various types of reclosable packaging articles that include the multilayer films and adhesive compositions.

SEALANT FILM FOR PACKAGING LIQUID CONTENTS, LAMINATE INCLUDING SAME, PACKAGING MATERIAL FOR LIQUID CONTENTS, AND PACKAGE FOR LIQUID CONTENTS

The present invention provides: a sealant film for packaging liquid contents, which is excellent in manufacture suitability, exhibits the effect of being highly adsorptive against an eluting organic substance that a packaging material inherently contains, and odors generated by decomposition of a package-constituting resin and the like, at the time of sterilization/disinfection treatment, and is excellent in resistance to an odor-taste change for the liquid contents; and a package for liquid contents, produced using the sealant film. A sealant film for packaging liquid contents includes at least an odor adsorption layer, wherein the sealant film is formed from a resin composition containing low-elution polyethylene, the odor adsorption layer is formed from a resin composition containing the low-elution polyethylene and an odor adsorbent, a concentration of eluting TOC contained in a film formed from the low-elution polyethylene is 1.5 ppm or higher and 250 ppm or lower, and the odor adsorbent is an inorganic porous material carrying a chemical adsorbent thereon; and a packaging material for liquid contents and a package for liquid contents are produced using the sealant film.

Disposable insole pads and use thereof

Disposable insole pads and use thereof are disclosed. The disposable insole pads are multilayer structures comprising a topsheet and a pressure sensitive adhesive, and optionally a backsheet, silicone coating and liner layers. The pressure sensitive adhesive layer allows the disposable insole pads to be positioned, repositioned and removed, making them well suited for daily use and disposal.

A smell-proof portable container is provided comprising a portable case and a compartment within the case. The compartment contains a lining comprising an inner layer comprising a non-woven fabric, a middle layer comprising active carbon filtering material, and an outer layer comprising the non-woven fabric. The middle layer adsorbs odor particles and pollutant particles emitted by contents of the compartment. The active carbon filtering material comprises carbon filter fiber with activated carbon. The lining is directed to preventing smells and odors associated with the contents from being externally detectable.

Film having an oxygen scavenger and a volatile organoleptic compound scavenger

A zeolite formulation has been identified that is to be included in an arrangement of barrier layers allowing for the entrapment of volatile organoleptic compound (VOCs), in particular, odor causing VOCs, between the barrier layers in order to contain the release of these compounds. The entrapment technique allows for extended time to adsorb, absorb or react such VOCs before they can be absorbed by the product surrounded by the packaging. A zeolite formulation of an odor scavenger layer not having any VOC barrier layers within the film is also disclosed having the capability to contain the release of hydrogen sulfide over a period of at least 20 days.
