DEVICE AND METHOD FOR PROCESSING BASE PAPER ROLL AND DEVICE FOR MANUFACTURING CORRUGATED CARDBOARD SHEET
A device and a method for processing a base paper roll and a method for manufacturing a corrugated cardboard sheet include a winding device that winds corrugated cardboard base paper drawn out by rotating a base paper roll, a paper leading edge detection unit that detects a leading edge of the corrugated cardboard base paper wound by the winding device, a taping device that fixes the leading edge of the wound corrugated cardboard base paper to an outer peripheral face of the base paper roll with adhesive tape, and a control unit that controls a rotation speed of the base paper roll based on an arrival direction of the leading edge of the corrugated cardboard base paper with respect to the taping device on the outer peripheral face of the base paper roll when the paper leading edge detection unit detects the leading edge of the corrugated cardboard base paper, and activates the taping device after controlling the rotation speed of the base paper roll.
Method of forming single face corrugated board
A method of bonding a substantially planar sheet material to a corrugated sheet material using an automated process the method characterized by the steps of a) applying adhesive in discrete amounts to the contact points of the corrugated sheet material, and b) holding the sheet materials together until a bond is formed between them.
Plant and method for laminating corrugated cardboard
A plant for laminating cardboard, and in particular corrugated cardboard, by an adhesive plastics film, is provided. The plant has a supply station configured to supply a succession of single rough cardboard sheets in a feeding direction, an application station arranged in the sheet feeding direction and having an application roller configured to unwrap and apply the adhesive plastics film to a rough cardboard sheet so that the adhesive plastics film adheres to each rough cardboard sheet of the succession of rough cardboard sheets to form a succession of coated cardboard sheets and to advance each coated cardboard sheet of the succession of coated cardboard sheets in the feeding direction. A method for laminating cardboard, and in particular corrugated cardboard, using an adhesive plastics film is also provided.
WATER RESISTANT FIBER CORRUGATED OUTDOOR SIGN
A recyclable composite sign that includes a first coating layer, a second coating layer, a first paperboard layer coupled to the first coating layer and located between the first coating layer and the second coating layer, a second paperboard layer coupled to the second coating layer and located between the first paperboard layer and the second coating layer, and a corrugated layer located between, and coupled to, the first paperboard layer and the second paperboard layer.
Insulation products and methods and machines for making insulation products
The presently disclosed subject matter generally relates to recyclable insulation material for shipping containers, groceries bags, etc., machines for making the recyclable insulation material, and methods for the making the recyclable insulation material. In one aspect, an insulation product may include a first layer and a first continuous paper sheet formed into a first plurality of flexible loops disposed on and attached to the first layer and defining a first plurality of air channels that extend in a direction that is substantially perpendicular with a machine direction of the insulation product. A take up factor of the first continuous paper sheet to the first layer may be greater than 1:1.
Sheet packaging
Sheet packaging has a corrugated ply bonded to a backing ply. The corrugated ply forms parallel flutes. The packaging comprises voids through both the corrugated ply and the backing ply at intervals along the flutes, thereby forming a plurality of insular portions interconnected by flexures. Each insular portion has a flute portion and a backing portion between adjacent voids and bonded together at respective edges and each flexure comprises bonded-together portions of the corrugated ply and the backing ply. The flexures confer hyper flexibility to the packaging wherein each flexure possesses an independent bend axis across which the flexure can both be twisted and bent.

Assembly for producing a corrugated cardboard web laminated on one side
An assembly for producing a corrugated cardboard web laminated on one side includes a first corrugating roller and a second corrugating roller for producing a corrugated web. A glue application device applies glue to peaks of the corrugated web and a pressure belt apparatus which in turn includes a pressure belt for pressing a cover sheet against the glued peaks of the corrugated web which rests against the first corrugating roller. The assembly has a pressure belt engaging apparatus including a pressure belt engaging device which engages downwards at the pressure belt during a corrugating roller change to minimize and/or eliminate downwardly sagging of the pressure belt at least adjacent to the pressure belt engaging apparatus, and at least one displacement device in connection with the pressure belt engaging device to displace the pressure belt engaging device between a pressure belt engaging position and an idle position.
PACKAGING MATERIAL HAVING EXPANDABLE LAYERS
A packaging material, in accordance with an embodiment of the present disclosure, can include a first layer and a second layer. The first layer can be configurable to form an outer layer of a packaging enclosure. The second layer can be configurable to form an inner layer of the packaging enclosure. Each of the first layer and the second layer can be selectively movable from an unexpanded condition to an expanded condition. Furthermore, the first layer can include a plurality of undulations therein, and the plurality of undulations can be configured to flatten out when the first layer is moved to the expanded condition.
