PACKAGING MATERIAL, PACKAGING BAG AND PACKAGE
Provided is a packaging material for packaging contents including fats and oils, the packaging material including: a barrier layer including a first polyolefin layer, an inorganic vapor-deposited layer, and a barrier coating layer; and a second polyolefin layer having heat-sealability, in which the first polyolefin layer includes a homopolymer layer and a copolymer layer.
MULTILAYER COEXTRUDED FILM FOR CONTROLLING GREASE MIGRATION
A multilayer coextruded film which includes at least one oil and grease absorbing layer and at least one oil barrier layer. The at least one oil and grease absorbing layer includes at least one styrenic block copolymer. Each oil barrier layer includes one or more polyolefins. Some multilayer coextruded films include an interior sealing layer. Further multilayer coextruded films include an exterior finishing layer with the oil barrier layer and the oil and grease absorbing layer disposed between the interior sealing layer and the exterior finishing layer.
Method and Apparatus For Making Sealed Pouches
A method and apparatus for making pouches is disclosed. It includes using one or more of the following features: using two servo motors to drive a platen, providing a calibration routine is run at start-up and/or after the machine has been operating; controlling in response to feed back from the servo motor(s) such as feedback indicative of the distance the platen travels; the feedback is not of force exerted by the platen; and/or the platen is controlled to prevent unacceptable fracturing of the film laminate.
POLYOLEFIN BASED STRETCHED FILMS INCORPORATING MECHANOCHROMIC DYES AND METHOD TO USE SAME
The present disclosure relates to a multilayer stretch film comprising at least a first layer, wherein said first layer comprises a polyolefin resin. The film of this aspect of the disclosure further include at least a second layer, and a mechanochromic dye which may be in any or all layers of the film. Another aspect of the disclosure is a method of promoting optimal stretching of stretch film during a wrapping operation, which method comprises at least the following steps. A polyolefin resin is selected that has a given density. Selecting a mechanochromic dye based on its ability to agglomerate in an unstretched film made from the polyolefin resin having the given density, such that when the dye is included in the film, the unstretched film will exhibit a first color. Admixing the mechanochromic dye into a melt of the polyolefin resin. Forming a film from the admixture of the previous step. Wrapping an object using the film of the previous step, while stretching the film to a level where a change from the first color to a second color can be observed.
Preformed sheet and ballistic-resistant article
The invention relates to a preformed sheet comprising mono-layers from a fibrous network with fibers having a tensile strength of at least about 1.2 GPa and preferably a binder, and a separating film on at least one of its outer surfaces, the separating film having an areal density of between 1 and 10 g/m.sup.2 and a surface tension of less than 35 mN/m at the surface faced to the fibrous network and the separating film has a crystallinity of between 50 and 90%.
GLASS LAMINATES WITH IMPROVED FLATNESS AND METHODS FOR FORMING THE SAME
A glass laminate includes a non-glass substrate with a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface. A glass sheet is laminated to the first surface of the non-glass substrate. A barrier film is laminated to the second surface of the non-glass substrate and includes a first surface adjacent to the non-glass substrate, a second surface opposite the first surface. A thickness of the barrier film can be at most about 0.5 mm. The second surface of the barrier film can define an outer surface of the glass laminate. The barrier film can be a multi-layer barrier film with a metal layer and a polymer layer. An absolute value of a flatness of the glass laminate determined according to European Standard EN 438 after exposure to 23 C. and 90% relative humidity for 7 days can be at most about 3 mm/m.
UNBROKEN LOOP POLYMER FILM AND METHODS OF MAKING THE SAME
A polymer composite is disclosed and a method of making the same. The polymer composite includes an unbroken loop fabric having first second sides and a polymer film. The polymer film has first and second sides, the first side of the polymer film being bonded to the second side of the unbroken loop fabric. The polymer film is a polymer selected from polyethylene, polypropylene, or any combination thereof. The polymer composite may also include a polymer sheet with first and second sides. The first side of the polymer sheet is bonded to the second side of the polymer film. The polymer sheet may include a polymer selected from polyethylene, polypropylene, or any combination thereof.
SEALING FILM SUITABLE FOR FOOD PACKAGING AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF
A sealing film suitable for food packaging is provided, which adopts the following solution. The sealing film comprises, in sequence, a PET layer, a VMPET layer and a PE layer from inside to outside, wherein the PE layer comprises 100-110 parts of PE, 15-20 parts of EVA, 15-20 parts of EAA, 55-60 parts of HDPE and 10-15 parts of LLDPE in parts by mass. In this manner, the addition of HDPE and LLDPE into the PE layer is intended to enhance the tensile strength of the sealing film.
HAND DISHWASHING CLEANING ARTICLE AND A METHOD OF MANUALLY WASHING DISHWARE
The invention relates to a hand dishwashing cleaning article having a hand dishwashing cleaning composition enclosed in a water permeable pouch. The cleaning composition has a first side and a second side and includes: (a) a surfactant system; (b) filaments; and (c) water.
