The present disclosure relates to a thermoplastic film that includes a layer of thermoplastic material and an encapsulated odor control component. The encapsulated odor control component can include an odor-control active encapsulated within an odor-control encapsulant. Additionally, the encapsulated odor control component can be configured to release the odor-control active from the encapsulant when exposed to malodor particles. The thermoplastic film can further include a color indicator that changes color to indicate performance of the encapsulated odor control component. For example, the color indicator can change from a first color to a second color based, at least in part, on the release of the odor-control active.

The present disclosure also provides that a packaging bag with the cushion unit is of a plane structure after production; when the packaging bag is used after being transportation, an object is put into the packaging bag or applying a pushing force to the packaging bag so that the cushion unit is expanded to form the buffer layer, to protect the object inside the packaging bag.

An ethylene/alpha-olefin copolymer that can be synthesized in a fluidized-bed, gas phase polymerization reactor and made into a blown film. The ethylene/alpha-olefin copolymer is characterized by a bubble stability-effective combination of properties comprising density, melt flow ratio (“I.sub.21/I.sub.5”), and melt storage modulus G′ (G″=3,000 Pa). The synthesis in the FB-GPP reactor is characterized by a property-imparting-effective combination of operating conditions comprising reactor bed temperature and H2/C2 gas molar ratio. An embodiment of the blown film consisting of the ethylene/alpha-olefin copolymer is characterized by enhanced bubble stability. A method of making the ethylene/alpha-olefin copolymer. Film for odor suppression

The present disclosure provides a film. In an embodiment, a film for suppressing odors is provided and includes a composition of (A) from 85 wt % to 99 wt % of a thermoplastic polymer and (B) from 15 wt % to 1 wt % of an odor suppressant. The odor suppressant is a blend composed of (Bi) particles of zinc oxide and (Bii) zinc ionomer. The zinc oxide particles (Bi) have a D50 particle size from 100 nm to 3000 nm, a surface area from 1 m.sup.2/g to 9 m.sup.2/g, and a porosity less than 0.020 m.sup.3/g. The composition has a methyl mercaptan odor suppression value less than 70 at 3 days exposure to methyl mercaptan as measured in accordance with ASTM D5504-12.
