Bag
To suppress damage such as the formation of holes and wrinkles in laminated bodies constituting a bag. A bag having a storage section includes: laminated bodies that include a sealant film positioned on an inner surface of the bag and at least one plastic film positioned on an outer surface side of the sealant film; and a seal section where inner surfaces of one pair of laminated bodies are joined together. The seal section has an outer edge seal part that is positioned along an outer edge of the bag, and a steam-releasing seal part that is positioned closer to a center point side of the storage section than the outer edge seal part and peels off due to an increase in pressure in the storage section. The steam-releasing seal part peels off when the pressure in the storage section is 130 kPa or lower.
BARRIER LAMINATE AND PACKAGING CONTAINER WITH BARRIER LAMINATE
[Object] To provide a barrier laminate that includes a multilayer substrate with high interlayer adhesiveness to an evaporated film and that has high gas barrier properties.
[Solution] A barrier laminate according to the present invention includes a multilayer substrate, an evaporated film, and a sealant layer, wherein the multilayer substrate includes at least a polypropylene resin layer and a surface coating layer, the polypropylene resin layer is subjected to a stretching process, the surface coating layer contains a resin material with a polar group, and the evaporated film is composed of an inorganic oxide.
CO-EXTRUDED, BIAXIALLY ORIENTED, MATTE, HDPE FILMS
Disclosed are compositions and methods for multilayer films, which, in one embodiment may comprise a core layer comprising at least 50 wt. % of high-density polyethylene. Further, the multilayer film may include a first skin layer comprising, consisting essentially of, or consisting of low-density polyethylene, optionally linear, and at least about 80 wt. % of high-density polyethylene, as well as a second skin layer comprising either: (i) one or more low-density polyethylenes, any or all of them optionally being linear; or (ii) one or more polypropylene-based copolymers. The multilayer film may be oriented in at least one direction.
FREEZING PACKAGING FILM, FREEZING PACKAGING BAG, FROZEN FOOD PACKAGE, AND METHOD FOR EVALUATING PRESERVATION PERFORMANCE OF FREEZING PACKAGING FILM
A freezing packaging film having transparency that produces a color difference (ΔE) of 30 or less on a surface of contents when subjected to frozen storage at −20° C. for 2 weeks, the contents being a reagent containing 0.14 mass % of methylene blue and having L* of 55 to 65, a* of 3 to 9 and b* of 45 to 55 in a L*a*b* color system.
RESEALABLE BAG WITH INELASTIC DEFORMABLE POLYMER
The resealable bag has a main body including a resealing layer. The resealable bag is selectively positionable between an open, unsealed position and a closed, sealed position. When the resealable bag is in the closed, sealed position, the resealing layer is in a deformed shape. Advantageously, the resealable bag can be repeatedly rolled and sealed, and unrolled and unsealed, as desired without the use of additional integrated or non-integrated sealing mechanisms.
Laminate body and packaging bag using the same
A laminated body having at least two or more different layers, wherein the laminate body is characterized by satisfying the following requirements (1) to (5): (1) the laminate body has a heat-sealing layer as at least one of the outermost layers, wherein the heat-sealing layer includes a polyester based component containing ethylene terephthalate as a main constituent component, and a sealing strength of 8 N/15 mm to 30 N/15 mm; (2) at least one layer other than the heat-sealing layer is an inorganic thin film layer; (3) a water vapor permeation rate of 0.1 g/m.sup.2.Math.d to 6 g/m.sup.2.Math.d; (4) an oxygen permeation rate of 5 ml/m.sup.2.Math.d.Math.MPa to 30 ml/m.sup.2.Math.d.Math.MPa; and (5) a heat shrinkage rate of −5% to 5%.
LOW TEMPERATURE SEALABLE BAG
A heat sealable bag may have overlapping layers of a multi-layer film. The inner adjacent layers of the multi-layer film may comprise a sealant layer that allows an open edge of the bag to be heat sealed by temperatures lower than 255 F for a 6-second dwell time, thereby providing safer operation and potentially allowing thinner plastics to be used, with reduced risk of burn-through. The sealant may include a polyolefin plastomer such as an ethylene alpha-olefin resin.
Ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer composition, pellets, and multilayer structure
An ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer composition is substantially free from coloration, and contains: (A) an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer; (B) a polyamide resin; and (C) an iron compound; wherein the iron compound (C) is present in an amount of 0.01 to 20 ppm on a metal basis based on the weight of the ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer composition.
Methods and compositions for on-demand release of ClO.SUB.2 .gas from UV-activated chlorite ion
Compositions and methods for generating ClO.sub.2 gas are disclosed. A composition that includes a chlorite salt is activated by exposure to ultraviolet light. After an optional storage period, the composition is then exposed to moisture, resulting in the generation of ClO.sub.2 gas. Exemplary compositions include polymers in which the chlorite salt is dispersed. The polymers may be used to form films that can be used to package, e.g., food products, pharmaceutical products, medical devices, and/or laboratory devices. Upon exposure to ultraviolet light and moisture, the packaging releases controlled quantities of ClO.sub.2 gas, which may disinfect and/or deodorize the packaged device or product.
Active polystyrene film
The present invention belongs to the field of active polymer materials. Specifically, it relates to an active polystyrene film that has antimicrobial or antioxidant activity and the method of production of said film. It also refers to wrappers, packages and slice separators (interleavers) that comprise said film.
