The present invention relates to a multilayer container preform and a multilayer container, said preform or container comprising a base, a body and a neck finish, said base and body comprising an outer layer defining an exterior surface, an inner layer defining an interior surface and interior space, and an intermediate layer disposed between the outer layer and the inner layer, said outer layer and said inner layer comprising a primary material selected from the group consisting of a 2,5-furandicarboxylate polyester or co-polyester or a blend thereof, and said intermediate layer comprising a secondary material different from the primary material, but compatible with the primary material. The invention relates to methods of producing such a multilayer container preform and multilayer container

CUSTOM GRAPHIC FILM

A product, system, and method for creating a film capable of allowing a user to create a custom graphical representation is described, which may allow a user to create a custom graphical representation in a film by depressing select areas of the film to form the custom graphical representation.

Systems for carbonating customized beverages

A system for carbonating a personalized beverage may comprise a base container including at least one sidewall defining a liquid storage area, and a carbon dioxide storage member configured to be sealingly coupled to said base container. The system may further comprise a carbon dioxide cartridge configured to selectively release carbon dioxide when engaged with said carbon dioxide storage member, and wherein said carbon dioxide storage member further comprises a pressure regulator configured to, when actuated, release the said carbon dioxide from said carbon dioxide cartridge at a rate configured to carbonate a beverage within said liquid storage over a period of time greater than 6 hours and less than 36 hours.

COSMETIC CONTAINERS AND METHODS OF MANUFACTURE

Methods of manufacturing and fixtures for manufacturing containers, particularly for holding cosmetic products, using thin-walled tubes. One end of a container may be formed using an integral process, such as insert molding, while the other end of the container is formed using assembly steps, such as welding, to form a completed cosmetics container from a thin-walled tube.

Composite film

A composite film for closing a container by sealing the composite film against a circumferential sealing surface of the container or of a cap ring to be connected to the container has a support layer made of a metal film and a sealing layer connected to the metal film. The sealing layer comprises a coextruded layer with a cohesively breaking intermediate layer and adhesion promoter layers arranged on both sides of the intermediate layer. The composite film is suitable for tight sealing against sealing surfaces made of polished tinplate.

BLOW MOLDED CONTAINERS

A container blow molded from a multilayer structure which comprises an inner product facing layer which comprises an ethylene-based polymer having a density equal to or less than 0.940 g/cc, a crystallinity of equal to or less than 62%, and Mz/Mn ratio equal to or less than 100, wherein the inner product facing layer has a small scale root mean square roughness of equal to or less than 40 nm and/or a large scale root mean square roughness of equal to or less than 500 nm is provided.

Plastic container having excellent decorative appearance

A plastic container including a container body (1) made from a colored olefin resin and a decorative layer (3) laminated on the outer surface thereof. The decorative layer includes a transparent adhesive resin layer (3b), a transparent polyester resin layer (3a) which is the outer surface layer, and an intermediate gradation layer (3c) including a portion of which the thickness gradually varies in the direction of height of the container. The gradation layer is formed of a transparent polyester resin blended with a coloring agent. The thickness of the container body varies in response to a change in the thickness of the gradation layer in a manner such that the thickness of the container body portion which is the total thickness of the thickness of the container body and the thickness of the decorative layer is not varied by the presence of the gradation layer.

Ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer composition, melt-forming material, multilayer structure, and multilayer pipe

An ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer composition contains: (A) an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer; (B) an antioxidant; and (C) a sorbic acid ester; wherein the sorbic acid ester (C) is present in an amount of 0.00001 to 10 ppm based on the weight of the ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer composition; wherein the weight ratio (B)/(C) of the antioxidant (B) to the sorbic acid ester (C) is 500 to 1,000,000. The resulting ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer composition is less susceptible to coloration.

DOUBLE-WALLED CONTAINER MANUFACTURING METHOD

The present invention is a double-walled container manufacturing method in which when a pair of partial molds is brought towards each other to be assembled to form a split mold, at least a portion of the mating surfaces of the pair of partial molds clamp a parison at two side portions that are at horizontal positions facing each other. The method is able to manufacture the container easily with a molding device that does not differ significantly from the past and, in a double-walled container obtained from a relatively rigid outer container and a flexible inner container the volume of which can change according to the amount of contents filled inside said outer container, an opening for introducing outside air can be formed very easily and reliably at a lower cost than the processing cost of prior art.
