The inventive label is prepared from a polyester with an intrinsic viscosity of 0.58 dl/g or more. The label has a base film with a thickness of 8-30 m and a difference in specific heat capacity Cp between temperatures lower and higher than Tg of 0.2 J/(g.Math. C.) or more. The label has a tensile elongation at break of 5% or more in both a main shrinkage direction and an orthogonal direction. A difference between the absorbancy ratio (absorbancy at 1340 cm.sup.1/absorbancy at 1410 cm.sup.1) in the main shrinkage direction of the label and the absorbancy ratio in the direction orthogonal to the main shrinkage direction of the label is 0.2 or more. The label has a difference between a maximum value and a minimum value of a length in a vertical direction of the label of 3 mm or less.

Method of making an insulation material and an insulated mailer

A method and system for producing an insulated mailer and an insulated box having an insulative paper fiber pad substructure with a density of less than about 10 pounds per cubic foot. The insulative paper fiber pad has entangled reinforcement fibers. A method of forming an insulative paper fiber pad using recycling-compatible or water soluble adhesive and paper layers is provided.

INSULATED PANELS

An insulated panel includes a first layer defining an inner surface; a corrugated medium defining a plurality of peaks, the plurality of peaks attached to the inner surface, a plurality of flutes defined between the corrugated medium and the inner surface; and an insulation material at least partially filling a flute of the plurality of flutes.

HONEYCOMB CORE SANDWICH PANELS

In accordance with one embodiment of the present disclosure, a method for manufacturing a honeycomb core sandwich panel includes placing a thermoset facesheet in contact with a thermoplastic honeycomb core without using a separate adhesive and attaching the thermoset facesheet to the thermoplastic honeycomb core by using a curing profile comprising a temperature that is lower than a gel point temperature of the thermoset facesheet and higher than a softening point temperature of the thermoplastic honeycomb core.

A THERMAL CONTROL BOARD AND INSULATING TRANSPORT AND STORAGE CONTAINER THEREOF

The present invention relates to the field of the transportation and storage of goods and, in particular, to a box or box-like transport container formed of corrugated board or laminated board that can provide a high degree of thermal insulation. More particularly, the present invention relates to board for the use in such storage containers formed from such board that comprise a box or box-like container, being a hand-held container or a pallet shipper.

Insulation products and methods and machines for making insulation products

The presently disclosed subject matter generally relates to recyclable insulation material for shipping containers, groceries bags, etc., machines for making the recyclable insulation material, and methods for the making the recyclable insulation material. In one aspect, a method of forming an insulation product may include forming a continuous sheet of paper into a plurality of flexible loops defining a plurality of air channels extending in a direction that is substantially perpendicular with a machine direction of the continuous sheet of paper. The method may also include immediately attaching a first layer of paper and a second layer of paper to the plurality of flexible loops as they are formed so that the continuous sheet of paper retains the plurality of flexible loops between the first layer and the second layer and that the plurality of flexible loops remain unattached with respect to one another.

The present disclosure pertains to a laminate membrane for sealing an inner compartment in a packaging container comprising a top member and a bottom member. The top and bottom members are laminated sheet materials. The top member has a thickness, a top member first surface and a top member second surface facing the bottom member. The bottom member has a bottom member first surface facing the top member second surface and a bottom member second surface. The laminate membrane is provided with a valve for allowing gas in the inner compartment of the packaging container to exit therefrom. The valve has a valve outer edge and is arranged on the bottom member first surface. The valve is arranged within an opening in the top member such that an opening edge encircles the valve. A surface area of the opening is greater than a surface area of the valve.

PACKAGING FILMS WITH RECYCLED POLYAMIDE CONTENT

Multicomponent recyclate containing polyamide components can be utilized in packaging films, saving both material and energy resources. Migration of the odorous compounds typically resulting from overprocessed polyamide materials can be minimized or eliminated by introducing odor barrier layers on both sides of the recyclate material. The resulting films have a low odor profile and can be used to package organoleptically sensitive products.
