Resin film for laminating metal plate and laminated metal plate using the same
A resin film for laminating a metal plate including a resin composition including a polyester-based thermoplastic elastomer and a thermoplastic polyester having a glass transition temperature (Tg) of 70 C. or more and 90 C. or less. The thermoplastic elastomer is dispersed in the thermoplastic polyester. A content of the thermoplastic elastomer in the film is 2 to 50 wt %, and an absolute value Tg of a difference between a glass transition temperature of the thermoplastic polyester and a glass transition temperature of the film satisfies the following Expression (1):
Tg<0.5W (1)
wherein W represents the thermoplastic elastomer content (wt %) in the film.
Polyester film and method for producing same
A polyester film comprises a polyester (A) composed mainly of polybutylene terephthalate and a polyester (B) composed mainly of polyethylene terephthalate, wherein a mass ratio (A/B) between the polyesters (A) and (B) is 70/30 to 55/45, a dry heat shrinkage rate (A) through heat treatment at 160 C. for 30 minutes is 20% or less in any of four directions on a film surface (0, 45, 90 and 135), a difference between a maximum value and a minimum value of these dry heat shrinkage rates is 5% or less, a dry heat shrinkage rate (B) through heat treatment at 200 C. for 15 minutes is 35% or less in any of the four directions, a difference between a maximum value and a minimum value of these dry heat shrinkage rates is 5% or less, and a thickness variation in the four directions is 10% or less.
Packaging coating containing water-dispersible acrylic block copolymer
A food or beverage container having a body portion or an end portion that includes a metal substrate with a coating composition disposed thereon. The coating composition includes a water-dispersible acrylic linear block copolymer made by surfactant-free heterogeneous radical polymerization (SFHRP). The block copolymer imparts a desirable combination of flexibility and corrosion resistance to the coating composition, and the substantial absence of surfactants during polymerization contributes to other desirable properties including good blush resistance.
Thermoplastic bags with duplicative seals
A thermoplastic bag includes duplicative seals. In particular, in one or more implementations, a thermoplastic bag includes a first seal and at least a second seal reinforcing the same area of the thermoplastic bag. For instance, in one or more implementations, the thermoplastic bag includes multiple seals along each side edge or along the hem. If one seal fails, the other seal(s) can remain in place to prevent leaks. Thus, the duplicative seals of the thermoplastic bag can provide reinforced strength and desired aesthetics.
TIN-PLATED STEEL SHEET AND CAN
