Composite display cover
Implementations for composite display cover are described and provide improved protection and durability to device displays as compared with conventional display protection technologies. The described composite display cover, for instance, utilizes an ultra-thin glass layer with a polymer film applied directly to the glass layer and a hard coat applied to the polymer film. The polymer film, for instance, is applied to the glass layer without an adhesive. Further, the composite display cover can be attached to a display, such as via an adhesive layer that adheres the glass layer to a surface of the display.
Metal resin composite-molded article and method for manufacturing same
A metal resin composite-molded article which can suppress deformation induced by laser processing in a technique for improving the adhesion between a metal plate and a resin by forming grooves on the surface of the metal plate by means of a laser, even if the metal plate is thin. A metal resin composite-molded article obtained by insert-molding a resin composition on a metal plate having a thickness of 500 μm or less, grooves are formed on the surface of the metal plate in which the resin composition is inserted, the width of the grooves is 30-300 μm, the depth of the grooves is at most 24% of the thickness of the metal plate, and the ratio of the width to the depth is 0.1-2.5.
Multilayer adhesive tape
A multilayer adhesive tape is provided, including: a first outer adhesive layer; an intermediate adhesive layer; and a second outer adhesive layer sequentially. At least one of the first outer adhesive layer and the second outer adhesive layer includes a cured product of an outer adhesive composition including a high molecular weight prepolymer having a weight average molecular weight of 100,000 g/mol or more and 1,500,000 g/mol or less and a low molecular weight prepolymer having a weight average molecular weight of 1,000 g/mol or more and 80,000 g/mol or less.
Polarizing plate and optical display apparatus comprising the same
A polarizing plate and an optical display apparatus including the same are provided. A polarizing plate includes a polarizer and a protective film stacked on at least one surface of the polarizer, and the polarizer includes a hydrophobic polyvinyl alcohol resin, the polarizer has a surface roughness (Ra) of about 10 nm or less on a surface thereof facing the protective film, and the polarizing plate has a maximum metal ion-infiltration length of about 400 μm or less between the polarizer and the protective film when metal powder-containing pastes are deposited on a surface of the polarizing plate in a thickness direction thereof and left at 60° C. and 95% relative humidity (RH) for 240 hours.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE
An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a backboard, a circuit board disposed on the backboard, a light source disposed on the circuit board, a housing disposed on the backboard, and a panel disposed on the housing. The panel contacts the housing, and the light source and the circuit board are disposed between the panel and the backboard.
Single packet reflective polarizer with thickness profile tailored for low color at oblique angles
Multilayer optical film reflective polarizers previously considered to have excessive off-axis color can provide adequate performance in an LC display in an “on-glass” configuration, laminated to a back absorbing polarizer of the display, without any light diffusing layer or air gap in such laminate. The reflective polarizer is a tentered-one-packet (TOP) multilayer film, having only one packet of microlayers, and oriented using a standard tenter such that birefringent microlayers in the film are biaxially birefringent. The thickness profile of optical repeat units (ORUs) in the microlayer packet is tailored to avoid excessive perceived color at normal and oblique angles. Color at high oblique angles in the white state of the display is reduced by positioning thicker ORUs closer to the absorbing polarizer, and by ensuring that, with regard to a boxcar average of the ORU thickness profile, the average slope from an ORU(600) to an ORU(645) does not exceed 1.8 times the average slope from an ORU(450) to the ORU(600).

Pressing modules with hot-pressing assemblies are arranged at four corners close to the first mounting plate. Cleaning modules corresponding to the pressing modules are arranged in the transfer module below the first mounting plate. The present disclosure can quickly remove glue overflowing on a heat conduction element in the hot-pressing module by the cleaning module to ensure the surface flatness of a second part of the heat conduction element for hot-pressing and satisfactory resistance of an ACF connected to a substrate after hot-pressing.
