An adhesive-film exfoliating device includes an absorption stage 6 for absorbing a liquid crystal display panel 4 in which a polarizing plate 3 is adhered to a glass plate 2, a clamping unit 7 for clamping a corner 3a of the polarizing plate 3 exfoliated from the glass plate 2 and a ball screw shaft 11 for moving the absorption stage 6 relatively to the clamping unit 7. A ball screw nut 14 in screw-engagement with the ball screw shaft 11 is fixed on a back surface of the absorption stage 6. With the rotation of the ball screw shaft 11, the absorption stage 6 integral with the ball screw nut 14 is slid in a direction to exfoliate the polarizing plate 3 exfoliated from the glass plate 2. In a manufacturing method of the liquid crystal display panel 4, a process of exfoliating the polarizing plate 3 from the glass plate 2 includes steps of moving the absorption stage 6 while allowing the clamping unit 7 to clamp the corner 3a of the polarizing plate 3.

Provided is a glass cell in which the thickness of the interior space has high uniformity. A glass cell (1) includes first and second glass sheets (11, 12) and an intermediate sheet (13). The first and second glass sheets (11, 12) are disposed to face each other at a distance. The intermediate sheet (13) is disposed between the first glass sheet (11) and the second glass sheet (12). The intermediate sheet (13) includes an opening (13a). A surface of the intermediate sheet (13) next to the first glass sheet (11) or a surface of the first glass sheet (11) next to the intermediate sheet (13) is made of metal and a surface of the intermediate sheet (13) next to the second glass sheet (12) or a surface of the second glass sheet (12) next to the intermediate sheet (13) is made of metal. One of both surface layers of the intermediate sheet (13) and the first glass sheet (11) are anodically bonded together and the other surface layer of the intermediate sheet (13) and the second glass sheet (12) are anodically bonded together.

A photoalignment agent includes a polyimide and a capping terminal connected to a main chain end terminal of the polyimide. The capping terminal includes an alkylene group (—C.sub.mH.sub.2m—, m is a natural number) and a core stereo unit in a dendrimer format. A liquid crystal display includes a first substrate, a thin film transistor disposed on the first substrate, a first electrode connected to the thin film transistor, and a first alignment layer disposed on the first electrode. The first alignment layer includes a polyimide and a capping terminal connected to a main chain end terminal of the polyimide. The capping terminal includes an alkylene group (—CmH2m-, m is a natural number) and a core stereo unit in a dendrimer format.

The present disclosure provides a quantum dot display apparatus. By adding quantum dot display technology of the present disclosure can provide sophisticated quantum dot patterns in the color filter layer and have higher resolution, color saturation and color gamut of the display apparatus, the well structure and manufacture is simple. The disclosure also provides a manufacturing method of a quantum dot display apparatus, the methods includes exposure, coating, developing process of the existing color filter to contain the surface modified red and green quantum dot resin composition with more sophisticated patterns, and making high resolution, color saturation and color gamut quantum dot display apparatus, the material preparation and fabrication process of this manufacturing method is simple, less waste of materials, low production cost, suitable for mass production.
OPTICAL FILM
An optical film including an olefin resin layer that contains a cyclic olefin polymer and an ester compound. The ratio of the ester compound in the olefin resin layer is 0.1% by weight to 10% by weight. An average light absorbance of the optical film in a wavelength range of 9 μm to 11 μm is 0.1% or more.

The present invention provides an image display panel including an image display unit and an optical film including a polarizing film provided on a viewing side of the image display unit via a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, wherein the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer has a degree of swelling with oleic acid of more than 130% and 190% or less, and the image display panel has a flat edge face. The image display panel with a bezel can preventing peeling-off of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer even when placed in a humidified environment in a state where fat and oil or cream components are in contact with the elastic intermediate layer. The image display panel of the present invention can prevent peeling-off of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer even when placed in a humidified environment in a state where fat and oil or cream components are in contact with the elastic intermediate layer.
REGIOSELECTIVELY SUBSTITUTED CELLULOSE ESTERS AND FILMS MADE THEREFROM
Regioselectively substituted cellulose esters having a plurality of pivaloyl substituents and a plurality of aryl-acyl substituents are disclosed along with methods for making the same. Such cellulose esters may be suitable for use in films, such as +A optical films, and/or +C optical films. Optical films prepared employing such cellulose esters have a variety of commercial applications, such as, for example, as compensation films in liquid crystal displays and/or waveplates in creating circular polarized light used in 3-D technology.
