Curable silicone optically clear adhesives and uses thereof
Silicone optically clear adhesives compositions and films with pressure sensitive properties are described. The silicone optically clear adhesives compositions are thermal, UV curable, or UV-moisture dual curable. The silicone optically clear adhesives are suitable for sealing and bonding cover glasses, touch panels, diffusers, rigid compensators, heaters, and flexible films, polarizers and retarders in the optical display devices, and are particularly suitable in flexible and foldable displays.
Hard coat film and method for producing same
A hard coat film having excellent adhesion (particularly adhesion over time) to a hard coat layer when a cycloolefin polymer film is used as a base material. The hard coat film comprises a hard coat layer containing an ionizing radiation curable resin laminated on at least one surface of a cycloolefin polymer base film via a primer layer. The primer layer has an arithmetic average surface roughness (Ra) in the range of 0.5 nm to 15.0 nm, and a surface of the primer layer has a static friction coefficient in the range of 0.6 to 2.0.

Provided is a curable silicone composition, a cured product thereof, a laminate body, a manufacturing method thereof, and an optical device or optical display exhibiting excellent performance for use as a member where transparency is required such as for an optical display, a touch panel, or the like. A curable silicone composition, comprises: (A) an organopolysiloxane having in a molecule at least 2 alkenyl groups with 2 to 12 carbon atoms; (B) an organohydrogenpolysiloxane having at least 2 silicon-bonded hydrogen atoms per molecule; and (C) a hydrosilylation reaction catalyst. Component (B) is present in an amount such that the silicon-bonded hydrogen atoms in component (B) are 0.5 to 2 mol per mol of aliphatic unsaturated carbon-carbon bonds in component (A), and 2 to 17.5 mol % of the silicon-bonded organic groups in the curable silicone composition are aryl groups.
SCREEN PRIVACY DEVICES WITH ANGLED POLYMER-DISPERSED LIQUID CRYSTAL CHANNELS
In one example in accordance with the present disclosure, a screen privacy device is described. The screen privacy device includes a substrate with channels having angled walls. A polymer-dispersed liquid crystal (PDLC) compound within the channels selectively alters a viewing angle of an underlying display screen. The screen privacy device also includes electrodes disposed on opposite wails of each of the channels to selectively apply a voltage potential across the PDLC compound within a corresponding channel.

Antireflection plate
An antireflection plate has a structure in which a hard coat layer, an antireflective layer having a low refractive index layer, a protective layer, and an overcoat layer are laminated in this order on a transparent resin substrate. The low refractive index layer is a cured body of a curable composition containing 50 to 200 parts by mass of (B-2) hollow silica fine particles, and the low refractive index layer has a refractive index of 1.20 to 1.45. The protective layer is a cured body of a curable composition containing 7.5 to 35 parts by mass of (B-3) spherical silica fine particles, and the protective layer has a thickness of 10 to 15 nm and a refractive index of 1.45 to 1.50. The overcoat layer includes a polymer of a fluorine-containing silicon compound.

According to at least one embodiment, there is provided a hard coat laminated film, including, from a surface layer side, a second hard coat, a first hard coat, and a transparent resin film layer, where the first hard coat and the transparent resin film layer are laminated directly, where the first hard coat is formed of a coating material including: (A) 100 parts by mass of a polyfunctional (meth)acrylate; and (B) 1 to 100 parts by mass of an N-substituted (meth)acrylamide compound, where the second hard coat is formed of a coating material containing no inorganic particles, and where the transparent resin film is a transparent multilayer film or a transparent monolayer film made of a poly(meth)acrylimide resin, where the transparent multilayer film includes a surface layer made of a poly(meth)acrylimide resin, the first hard coat being formed on the surface layer.

The present disclosure relates to a weather resistance improver including a compound (A) and a compound (B), wherein the compound (A) is a compound having the following structure (1), and the compound (B) is a compound having the following structure (2) or a salt thereof. According to the weather resistance improver, it is possible to suppress deterioration of a transparent conductive film using metal nanowires even under any conditions of long-term exposure to sunlight, long-term exposure to artificial light, and high-temperature/high-humidity. ##STR00001##
