The flexible display apparatus includes a display panel and a cover plate layer located on a display side of the display panel. The cover plate layer includes a first cover plate layer and a second cover plate layer stacked; the second cover plate layer is located on a side of the first cover plate layer that is closer to the display panel; the first cover plate layer includes a first flexible cover plate layer and a hardened layer located on a side of the first flexible cover plate layer that is away from the display panel; and the second cover plate layer includes a second flexible cover plate layer.
DISPLAY DEVICE
A display device includes a display panel including first and second unfolding areas, and a folding area therebetween, a first support member and a second support member disposed on a back surface of the display panel and spaced apart from each other with the folding area therebetween, a first barrier sheet partially fixed to a back surface of the first support member and extending to a back surface of the second support member, and a second barrier sheet partially fixed to the back surface of the second support member, extending to the back surface of the first support member, and covering the first barrier sheet. Each of the first barrier sheet and the second barrier sheet overlaps the first support member, the folding area, and the second support member, and the first barrier sheet is accommodated in a space between the second barrier sheet and the second support member.
Composite Display Cover
Implementations for composite display cover are described and provide improved protection and durability to device displays as compared with conventional display protection technologies. The described composite display cover, for instance, utilizes an ultra-thin glass layer with a polymer film applied directly to the glass layer and a hard coat applied to the polymer film. The polymer film, for instance, is applied to the glass layer without an adhesive. Further, the composite display cover can be attached to a display, such as via an adhesive layer that adheres the glass layer to a surface of the display.
High performance photocurable optically clear adhesive
The present invention is an optically clear, curable adhesive including a polyvinylbutyral, a polyurethane (meth)acrylate, and a photoinitiator. The polyvinylbutyral has a dynamic viscosity of between about 9 and about 13 mPa.Math.s and a polyvinyl alcohol weight percent of less than about 18%. The polyurethane (meth)acrylate includes the reaction product of a diol, at least one diisocyanate, and a hydroxyfunctional (meth)acrylate or an isocyanatofunctional (meth)acrylate. When the optically clear, curable adhesive is placed between two transparent substrates and made into a laminate, the laminate has a haze of less than about 6%, a transmission of greater than about 88% and an optical clarity of greater than about 98% when cured. The optically clear, curable adhesive also has a peel adhesion of at least about 100 g/cm based on ASTM 3330 when cured.
ANTI-GLARE DIFFUSING FILM FOR ELECTRONIC DISPLAYS
The present disclosure is drawn to anti-glare diffusing films for electronic displays. In one example, an anti-glare diffusing film for an electronic display can include multiple fused layers that individually include transparent polymer particles fused together using a fusing agent. The fusing agent can include diffusing particles selected from hollow glass beads, hollow polymer beads, titanium aerogel particles, or a combination thereof.
FRANGIBLE GLASS ARTICLES AND METHODS OF MAKING THE SAME
Frangible glass articles having a fracture behavior that resists ejection of glass particles upon fracture. In some embodiments, the frangible glass articles can have a first surface region with a first elastic compressive stress energy per unit area of glass (W.sub.el.sup.comp1), a second surface region with a second elastic compressive stress energy per unit area of glass (W.sub.el.sup.comp2), and a central region with an elastic tensile stress energy per unit area of glass (W.sub.T), where (W.sub.el.sup.comp1+W.sub.el.sup.comp2)−W.sub.T≤25 J/m.sup.2. In some embodiments, the frangible glass articles can have a total load ratio (W.sub.i/G.sub.D) less than 6.5 and a total elastic compressive stress energy per unit area of glass (W.sub.C) less than 60% of a total load (W.sub.i), where: W.sub.C=W.sub.el.sup.comp1+W.sub.el.sup.comp2, W.sub.i=W.sub.C+W.sub.T, G.sub.D=4G.sub.1C, and
In some embodiments, the frangible glass articles can have a differential load ratio (W.sub.d/G.sub.IC) less than
