Embodiments of the disclosure relate to a glass article. The glass article includes a glass sheet having a first major surface and a second major surface. The second major surface is opposite to the first major surface. The glass article also includes a frame made of a plastic material. The plastic material has a coefficient of thermal expansion (a) having units of ppm/° C. The glass article further includes an adhesive bonding the second major surface of the glass sheet to the frame. The adhesive has a shear modulus (G) having units of MPa. The plastic material of the frame and the adhesive are selected such that G≤500,000 α.sup.−3.
Touch-sensitive screen
A touch-sensitive screen, in particular for use in a motor vehicle, is described. The screen comprises a rigid cover layer with a roughened surface, a polarization layer arranged beneath the cover layer, a touch sensor layer arranged beneath the polarization layer, and a display of the touch-sensitive screen.

The present invention relates to a polyvinyl acetal resin composition containing: a polyvinyl acetal; a photoradical polymerization initiator; and a monomer or oligomer having a radical polymerizable double bond.
Method for producing multilayer film
Embodiments provide a method for producing a multilayer film, the method including: (A) a step for continuously coextruding from a T die (3) a molten film (4) of a multilayer film in which a first acrylic resin layer (α1), an aromatic polycarbonate resin layer (β), and a second acrylic resin layer (α2) are directly laminated in the stated order using a coextrusion apparatus; (B) a step for feeding and pressing the molten film of the multilayer film between a first mirror surface body (5) that rotates or revolves and a second mirror surface body (6) that rotates or revolves so that the first acrylic resin layer (α1) is disposed on the first-mirror-surface-body side; and (C) a step for holding the pressed multilayer film against the first mirror surface body and sends the pressed multilayer film to the subsequent third mirror surface body (8) that rotates or revolves, where TR1 (surface temperature of first mirror surface body), TR2 (surface temperature of second mirror surface body), Tα1 (glass transition temperature of first acrylic resin), Tα2 (glass transition temperature of second acrylic resin), and Tβ (glass transition temperature of aromatic polycarbonate resin) satisfy a prescribed relationship.

An apparatus for manufacturing a display device includes a first jig including a mount surface that is partially curved to conform to a surface of a cover window, a second jig including a surface conforming to the mount surface and configured to contact a panel member, and a driving unit.
Touch screen shield
A shield that is attachable to a touch sensitive screen is disclosed. The shield may be attached to the touch sensitive screen only at its outer peripheral portion. An air gap is enclosed between the shield and the touch sensitive screen to form a planar air bearing. The shield preferably does not touch the active area of the touch sensitive screen when the user is not touching the shield but only viewing the touch sensitive screen through the shield. This mitigates unwanted optical artifacts such as trapped air bubbles, Newton rings and chromatic interference while maintaining the sensitivity of the touch sensitive screen.

A dam forming method and a method for manufacturing a laminate capable of suppressing the occurrence of a height difference in the thickness of a dam. A dam forming method is used in a method for manufacturing a laminate in which a first base member and a second base member are laminated via a fill material, including: forming a dam surrounding an application region for the fill material on the first base member; and applying the fill material to the application region. The dam forming method includes: applying a dam-forming resin composition on peripheral edges of the first base member by accelerating the application speed of the dam-forming resin composition continuously or stepwise from the start to the end of the application; and curing the applied dam-forming resin composition.
Touch screen having gel-based optical adhesive layer
The present invention relates to a touch screen that is assembled by a bonding process. The touch screen includes a display module including a frame and a displaying area; a touch panel configured above the display module and to receive a touch input; and a gel-based optical adhesive partially pre-cured prior to an implementation of the bonding process, interposed between and bonding the display module and the touch panel, and having a coverage larger than the displaying area and less than an outer edge of the frame and a ratio of transmittance larger than a percent of 91%.

A display device includes a display panel including first and second unfolding areas, and a folding area therebetween, a first support member and a second support member disposed on a back surface of the display panel and spaced apart from each other with the folding area therebetween, a first barrier sheet partially fixed to a back surface of the first support member and extending to a back surface of the second support member, and a second barrier sheet partially fixed to the back surface of the second support member, extending to the back surface of the first support member, and covering the first barrier sheet. Each of the first barrier sheet and the second barrier sheet overlaps the first support member, the folding area, and the second support member, and the first barrier sheet is accommodated in a space between the second barrier sheet and the second support member.

The present invention provides a hotmelt adhesive composition, comprising (A) at least one polyurethane prepolymer obtained by reacting (A1) polyols comprising: (a) at least one polyester polyol, and (b) at least one polyether polyol, with (A2) at least one polyisocyanate having at least two isocyanate groups in one molecule; (B) at least one thermoplastic resin; and (C) at least one aspect ratio promoter in an amount of no more than 10% by weight based on the total weight of the composition.
