METHOD FOR REMEDIATING DEVELOPMENTALLY DELAYED PLANTS
20220174935 · 2022-06-09 ·

A method for remediating developmentally delayed plants within a field of crops using at least one work vehicle during a field operation. The method comprises identifying delayed plants within the field with a sensor on the work vehicle and generating, with a processor, location data associated with the location of the delayed plant with the field. Upon arriving at the location of the delayed plant with the work vehicle, the delayed plant is remediated.

HIGH STEVIOL GLYCOSIDE-CONTAINING STEVIA PLANT AND METHOD FOR SCREENING SAME

A method of screening for a stevia plant with high steviol glycoside content, that includes detecting from the genome of a test stevia plant the presence and/or the absence of the following genetic feature: (1) homozygous for the allele wherein the base at the position corresponding to position 290 of SEQ ID NO: 1 is T, and the presence and/or the absence of the following genetic feature: (2) homozygous or heterozygous for the allele wherein the base at the position corresponding to position 40 of SEQ ID NO: 2 is A.

RAPID GENERATION OF PLANTS WITH DESIRED TRAITS

The present application relates to avocado plant cells and avocado plant varieties that have combinations of polyphenol (PPO) gene loss of function mutations resulting in avocado plant cells and avocado plants with desirable traits, such as reduced browning and longer shelf life as compared to unmodified varieties. The plants and plant cells containing PPO loss of function mutations do not have any exogenous sequences in the genome. The present application also provides methods for making such plants and plant cells.

TOBACCO PLANTS HAVING ALTERED AMOUNTS OF ONE OR MORE ALKALOIDS IN LEAF AND METHODS OF USING SUCH PLANTS

This disclosure provides a number of sequences involved in the transport of alkaloids from the root to the leaf in tobacco, methods of using such sequences, tobacco plants carrying modifications to such sequences, and tobacco products made from such plants.
