HALFTONE SCREENS
An example system includes a color engine to separate an image into a plurality of color components. The system also includes a halftone engine to generate a plurality of halftone images based on the plurality of color components and a plurality of halftone screens. For each halftone screen, the halftone cell centers for that halftone screen occur at regular or semi-regular distances relative to a dot pitch. The plurality of halftone screens forms a high frequency moire pattern when the halftone screens are overlaid on each other. Each of the halftone screens have a granularity metric less than a threshold.
Screen printing pallet assembly and method of using pallet assembly in a screen printing operation
A method of screen printing positionally synchronizes a plurality of pallet assemblies on a first screen printing machine with a plurality of pallet assemblies on a second screen printing machine. A screen printed garment having a properly aligned first image received from the first screen printing machine is transferred on a portion of one of the pallet assemblies on the first screen printing machine to one of the plurality of pallet assemblies on the second printing machine. The properly aligned first image on the garment is in proper positional alignment with a screen printing head on the second screen printing machine such that a second image complimentary to the first image is printed on the garment in proper position on the garment relative to the first image without user intervention to positionally locate the first image relative to the screen printing head on the second machine.

Screen printing press and method of use
A screen printing press includes a base and a clamping mechanism which is connected to the base. The clamping mechanism has a first member, a second member disposed perpendicular to the first member, and an edge. As screen has a first surface and a second surface perpendicular to the first surface. A protruding stop is disposed on at least one of the first surface and the second surface. The screen is positioned in the clamping mechanism so that the first surface abuts the first member, the second surface abuts the second member, and the protruding stop abuts the edge. The base includes an open frame which defines a volume which is shaped and dimensioned to receive a burn unit, so that when the burn unit is placed within the volume the burn unit is visible.
