TEXTILE DIGITAL PRINTING MACHINE
The present invention provides a textile digital printing machine including: a conveying device; a platen which conveys a textile along with the conveying device; a treatment liquid machine, a drying module, a pressing module and a printing module which are arranged successively along a conveying path of the textile. The treatment liquid machine includes a plurality of spray heads for spraying the treatment liquid onto the textile. The drying module is configured to heat the textile which has been sprayed with the treatment liquid, so that the treatment liquid is absorbed by the textile. The pressing module is configured to press the textile to keep the textile flat and heat the platen. The printing module is configured to spray ink onto the textile to thereby print patterns thereon. The heated platen is configured to dry the ink so that the ink is absorbed by the textile.
Apparatus for irradiating a substrate
The invention relates to an apparatus (1) for irradiating a substrate (2), which apparatus comprises a platform (4), which is straight or curved in relation to the longitudinal axis (3) of the platform (4), wherein one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten or more irradiation modules (6) and/or substrate supply air modules (36) and/or substrate exhaust air modules (37) are reversibly attachable directly or indirectly to the bottom side (8) of the platform (4) by sliding or inserting or mounting in one or more fixed or telescoping module attachment devices (10) provided on the bottom side (8) of the platform (4)each extending from the front side (5) of the apparatus (1) and in the direction of the back side (9) of the apparatus (1).
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING PRINTED MATTER
The present invention relates to [1] a process for producing a printed material, including step 1 of subjecting an image-bearing surface of a printed recording medium 1 on which characters or images are formed by analog printing to discharge treatment under specific conditions to obtain a printed recording medium 1, and step 2 of further forming characters or images on the image-bearing surface of the printed recording medium 1 by ink-jet printing using a water-based ink to obtain the printed material, [2] an ink-jet printing method including the step of ejecting a water-based ink onto a printed recording medium 1 by an ink-jetting method to form characters or images thereon, in which the printed recording medium 1 has an image-bearing surface on which characters or images are formed by analog printing, and the image-bearing surface is subjected to discharge treatment under the specific conditions, [3] a recording medium for ink-jet printing, including an image-bearing surface on which characters or images are formed by analog printing and which is subjected to discharge treatment, in which a surface free energy of the image-bearing surface after being subjected to the discharge treatment is not less than 30 mN/m, and [4] a printed material including an image-bearing surface on which characters or images are formed by analog printing and then on at least a part of which characters or images are further formed by ink-jet printing using a water-based ink, in which the image-bearing surface after forming the characters or images thereon by the analog printing is subjected to discharge treatment, and a surface free energy of the image-bearing surface after being subjected to the discharge treatment is not less than 30 mN/m.
Printer and dryer for drying images on coated substrates in aqueous ink printers
An aqueous ink printer includes a dryer that enables coated substrates to be printed with aqueous ink images. The dryer is configured to receive substrates from a first substrate transport and to hold a plurality of the substrates for a predetermined period of time to dry the aqueous ink images on the substrates before independently releasing each substrate in the plurality of substrates to a second substrate transport.
Gas impingement device, recording substrate treatment apparatus and printing system comprising such gas impingement device
A gas impingement device includes a first surface including a pattern of a plurality of gas outlets, the pattern including a number of substantially parallel rows of gas outlets, the rows arranged in a direction, which direction is at a skew angle with a front edge of the first surface of the gas impingement device. A recording substrate treatment apparatus and a printing system including such a gas impingement device and a method of drying a recording substrate by using the gas impingement device are also disclosed.
Printing device dryer setting
According to an example, an apparatus may include a controller and a non-transitory computer readable medium on which is stored instructions. The instructions may cause the controller to predict that a user is to instruct a printing device to perform a printing operation, in which the printing device includes a dryer, identify the user in response to the prediction, to access a user profile corresponding to the identified user, in which the accessed profile identifies a type of document that the identified user typically prints, and to adjust a setting of the dryer according to the identified type of document in the accessed profile.

Intelligent manifold assemblies for a light source, light sources including intelligent manifold assemblies, and methods of operating the same
A manifold assembly for distribution of a cooling fluid configured for use with a light source is provided. The manifold assembly includes a fluid manifold for providing a cooling fluid to a lamp head assembly of the light source, at least one sensor for sensing at least one characteristic of the cooling fluid in the fluid manifold, and a microprocessor for receiving information related to the at least one characteristic from the at least one sensor.
Sheet handling apparatus with rotary drum
According to the present invention a sheet handling apparatus is provided which comprises a rotary drum with openings at its peripheral wall. A strip with perforations formed therein spirals circumferentially over an outer surface of the drum in a circumferential spiralling direction, such that a screen is formed over the drum. A suction system controls a flow of air through the perforations thereby to attract sheets towards the drum. The strip is biased by means of a tensioning assembly, which exerts a tensioning force on the strip substantially parallel to the circumferential spiralling direction of the strip.
