FXR (NR1H4) modulating compounds

The present disclosure relates generally to compounds which bind to the NR1H4 receptor (FXR) and act as agonists of FXR. The disclosure further relates to the use of the compounds for the preparation of a medicament for the treatment of diseases and/or conditions through binding of said nuclear receptor by said compounds and to a process for the synthesis of said compounds.

Wafer comprising steroid hormones

The invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition in the form of a system in film form for transmucosal administration of steroid hormones. An administration system for steroid hormones which dissolves in the mouth and which releases with a high bioavailability is disclosed. The administration system in film form dissolves in the mouth preferably in a period of less than 30 min, and the steroid hormone entering the bloodstream transmucosally from the administration system leads to a rapid rise in the concentration in the blood. It is thus possible to achieve a maximum concentration of this steroid hormone in the blood in a period of less than 60 min after administration.

CYSTEINE ENGINEERED ANTIBODIES AND CONJUGATES
20170260253 · 2017-09-14 · ·

Cysteine engineered antibodies comprising a free cysteine amino acid in the heavy chain or light chain are prepared by mutagenizing a nucleic acid sequence of a parent antibody and replacing one or more amino acid residues by cysteine to encode the cysteine engineered antibody; expressing the cysteine engineered antibody; and isolating the cysteine engineered antibody. Certain highly reactive cysteine engineered antibodies were identified by the PHESELECTOR assay. Isolated cysteine engineered antibodies may be covalently attached to a capture label, a detection label, a drug moiety, or a solid support.

METHODS AND COMPOSITIONS FOR MODIFIED T CELLS
20170258835 · 2017-09-14 ·

The present invention relates to compositions and methods for generating modified cells with nucleic acid encoding a T cell receptor (TCR), a nucleic acid encoding a bispecific antibody, affinity molecule chimeric receptor, bispecific affinity molecule, or a chimeric ligand engineered activation receptor (CLEAR). One aspect includes a method for generating a modified T cell. Also included are methods and pharmaceutical compositions comprising the modified T cell for adoptive therapy and treating a condition, such as an autoimmune disease.

METHODS OF PREPARING HETEROARYL-KETONE FUSED AZADECALIN GLUCOCORTICOID RECEPTOR MODULATORS

The present invention provides methods of preparing heteroaryl-ketone fused azadecalin glucocorticoid receptor modulators, and compositions having low impurity levels.

Therapeutic Nuclease Compositions and Methods

Hybrid nuclease molecules and methods for treating an immune-related disease or disorder in a mammal, and a pharmaceutical composition for treating an immune-related disease in a mammal.

Use of glucocorticoid receptor antagonists in combination with glucocorticoids to treat adrenal insufficiency

This invention provides for a method of treating secondary adrenal insufficiency by co-administrating therapeutically effective amounts of a glucocorticoid and a glucocorticoid receptor antagonist to the patient in need thereof. In some embodiments, the method includes the proviso that the patient not be otherwise in need of treatment with a glucocorticoid and a glucocorticoid receptor antagonist. The treatment method can increase the patient's morning or basal cortisol level to at least about 12 μg/dL or a standard control level, and in turn, expedite significantly the recovery of the HPA axis. The method provided herein can improve health outcomes and life-threatening complications associated with secondary adrenal insufficiency.

Heteroaryl inhibitors of PAD4

The present invention provides compounds useful as inhibitors of PAD4, compositions thereof, and methods of treating PAD4-related disorders.
