RECORDING DEVICE BELT AND RECORDING DEVICE
A belt suitable for detection of a meandering amount of the belt and detection of a reference position for one round of the belt is realized with a simple configuration. The recording device belt has a plurality of marks for belt position detection disposed in a transport direction of the belt. Each of the plurality of marks has: a first specific portion whose dimension in the transport direction differs depending on a position in an intersecting direction that intersects with the transport direction; and a second specific portion whose dimension in the transport direction is constant regardless of the position in the intersecting direction. The plurality of marks include a reference mark whose dimension in the transport direction of the second specific portion is different from that of the other marks in the plurality of marks.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A DECORATIVE PANEL AND A DECORATIVE PANEL
A method for manufacturing a laminate assembly may involve providing a decorative paper, impregnating the decorative paper with a first thermosetting resin, and laminating the resin provided decorative paper on a substrate. The decorative paper may be impregnated with a second thermosetting resin before being laminated.
EXTERIOR CASE FOR HOT-WATER UNIT, AND HOT-WATER UNIT EQUIPPED WITH SAME
Provided is an exterior case for a hot-water unit, used to house hot-water equipment for generating or storing hot water inside, includes a thick printing portion that is provided on the outer surface of the exterior case and in which a plurality of inkjet printing layers are laminated in an overlaid state. It may be configured with thick printing portions that constitute Braille.
ULTRAVIOLET CURABLE INKJET INK
By use of an ultraviolet curable inkjet ink comprising a colorant, a polymerizable monomer having a specific structure, ethoxyphenyl(2,4,6-trimethylbenzoyl)phosphine oxide, and at least one type selected from the group consisting of an acylphosphine oxide photopolymerization initiator different than the ethoxyphenyl(2,4,6-trimethylbenzoyl)phosphine oxide, a benzophenone photopolymerization initiator, and an indane photopolymerization initiator, wherein the ratio of the content of the polymerizable monomer having the specific structure and the content of the ethoxyphenyl(2,4,6-trimethylbenzoyl)phosphine oxide is 2:1 to 8.5:1 by mass ratio, the content of a monofunctional monomer in the ultraviolet curable inkjet ink is 25% by mass or less, a printed matter having curability and coating film flexibility can be obtained regardless of the amount applied to a recording medium, and the discharge stability is also excellent.
Apparatus for packaging an item
A system and process of printing a package of expanded material (e.g., expanded starch, foam or other expanded material). The expanded material can be heated and extruded, poured, sprayed, or otherwise applied in malleable form that sets up to become a porous protective covering for an item to be packaged. In an example, a layer of expanded material is laid down, and the item in a protective covering (e.g., a plastic bag, sleeve, coating, etc.) is positioned on the layer of expanded material. Additional layers or expanded material may be applied, thereby encasing the item. The top surface of the expanded material may be flattened, such as by operation of a roller, press, or cutter. The top surface may be sprayed with a shellac sealant, paint, or other coating, to allow printing of a label on the top surface.
Method for manufacturing cans for beverage, and beverage can manufacturing method
A can body that has been subjected to outer surface painting (OV), inner surface painting (INS), and a neck process (SDN) but that has not been subjected to image formation is manufactured in a canning factory. The can body that has not been subjected to image formation is shipped to a beverage can manufacturing factory. At the beverage can manufacturing factory, an image formation process using a printer (PR) is performed. Specifically, ink is ejected from an inkjet head toward the can body, to thereby form an image on the outer circumferential surface of the can body. Thereafter, the can body is filled with beverage in a filler (FL), and then a can lid is attached to the can body in a seamer (SM).

Sonic speed measurement device and electronic apparatus
A sonic speed measurement device includes a reception array in which a plurality of reception elements which output reception signals in response to reception of an ultrasonic wave are disposed in one direction, a phase difference detection portion that detects a phase difference between the reception signals output from the reception elements adjacent to each other in a case where the plurality of reception elements receive the ultrasonic wave which propagates in a spherical wave shape from a target point, and a sonic speed calculation portion that calculates a sonic speed of the ultrasonic wave on the basis of the phase difference.
