PLOTTER, METHOD FOR DRAWING WITH PEN CONTAINING LIQUID USING PLOTTER, AND PEN MOUNTABLE ON PLOTTER
A plotter includes a mounting portion, a first movement mechanism, a second movement mechanism, a processor, and a memory. The mounting portion is configured to mount with a pen containing a liquid. The first movement mechanism is configured to relatively move the mounting portion and a workpiece in a movement direction. The second movement mechanism configured to relatively move the mounting portion and the workpiece in a direction intersecting the movement direction. The memory is configured to store computer-readable instructions that, when executed by the processor, instruct the processor to perform processes. The processes include acquiring plot data, acquiring information relating to a remaining amount of the liquid of the pen, setting a relative movement speed of the mounting portion and the workpiece, and controlling the first movement mechanism and the second movement mechanism at the set movement speed, and performing drawing on the workpiece.

Processing digital ink input subject to monitoring and intervention by an application program
A facility for processing ink input is described. In one example facility, the facility receives ink input from an input device. The facility generates and renders ink stroke data structures in response to received ink input in accordance with an ink input processing pipeline. The facility provides to an executing application access to information traversing the ink input processing pipeline at a selected point in the ink input processing pipeline.

Drawing device
A drawing device for drawing an object on a workpiece using a pen includes a holder, a movement portion to move the holder, a rotation portion to rotate the holder, and a memory storing, for each of a plurality of line segments configuring the object, drawing data relating to a position and a length of the line segment, and angle data relating to a rotation angle of the holder. The drawing device acquires the drawing data and the angle data of a preceding line segment from the memory, rotates the rotation portion in accordance with the angle data, and draws the object by controlling the movement portion in accordance with the drawing data. The drawing device acquires the drawing data and the angle data of a subsequent line segment continuously subsequent to the preceding line segment, rotates, and draws the object in the same manner as the preceding line segment.
