PRINTER CASSETTE WITH MOVABLE TENSIONING ROLLER AND ASSOCIATED PRINTER
An apparatus for holding label stock includes a body including a base and a roll holding area with a roll holding support extending from the base for receiving a roll of label stock. A plurality of rollers are located along a label stock feed path from the roll holding area to a label stock exit zone of the body. The plurality of rollers include a tensioning roller that is movable relative to the base to dissipate tension loads on label stock during label stock movement.
Printable Hook and Loop Structure
A printable structure is configured to create a temporary bind as one half of a hook and loop connection with another half of the hook and loop connection. The printable structure includes a substrate, an adhesive layer, and a print-receptive topcoat. The substrate has two opposing surfaces including a fastening surface that is one of a hook fastening surface and a loop fastening surface of the hook and loop connection and including a textured surface that is textured with surface relief in a direction parallel to a direction of thickness of the printable structure. The adhesive layer is coupled to the textured surface of the substrate. The print-receptive topcoat is coupled to the adhesive layer on a side opposite the substrate. The adhesive layer fills in the surface relief such that there are no un-filled gaps beneath the print-receptive topcoat to level the print-receptive topcoat.
TAPE CASSETTE
A tape cassette includes a recess formed on a part of a side wall of a cassette case, an arm portion, a roller partly exposed from the tape cassette, a first protrusion including a first leading end, and a second protrusion including a second leading end. The first leading end and the second leading end protrudes toward first side. The first leading end is positioned on a first virtual line or further to the first side than the first virtual line. The first virtual line connects an exposed part of an outer peripheral surface of the roller with a connection portion between the recess and a wall comprising the arm portion. The second leading end is positioned further to the first side than a second virtual line. The second virtual line connects the exposed part of the outer peripheral surface of the roller with the first leading end.
NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE MEDIUM AND CONTROL METHOD
A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing program set including a first program and a second program readable by a computer of an information processing device, the first program causing the information process device to register paper pre-set data to a paper information table in which a first correction value for correcting image data and paper information are associated, and the second program causing the information process device to: generate a list by referring to in the paper information table; send the generated list to an application program; obtain the first correction value corresponding to the paper pre-set data set in print setting from the paper information table; correct the received image data by using the obtained first correction value; and transmit a printing command for performing printing based on the corrected image data to a printer.
TAPE CASSETTE
The tape cassette includes a housing, a tape roll, a tape, an outlet, a first guide, first opening, second opening, a first rotation body, and a second rotation body. The first guide is configured to guide the tape that has been conveyed through a detection position toward the outlet. The first opening opens toward a first surface of the tape. The second opening opens toward a second surface of the tape. The first rotation body is disposed at a position adjacent to the first opening. The position adjacent to the first opening is an entrance to the detection position. The second rotation body is disposed further upstream than the first guide in a tape conveyance direction. The second rotation body is disposed at a position adjacent to the second opening. The position adjacent to the second opening is an exit from the detection position.
Integrated printing and packaging solution
A printing system for printing images onto a medium supplied as feed-stock, said system comprising a printer, a control computer and data inputting means, a printer head, a cutter, at least one rewinder and a taper; the print head for printing individual work-pieces onto the medium; the cutter for cutting the medium into individual work-pieces, and the at least one rewinder for rewinding the work-pieces into coreless-rolls, and the taper comprising a tape dispenser and printer for printing identifying data onto a piece of tape applied to fasten each coreless roll closed wherein the cutter and the printing of the tape is controlled by the control computer, wherein the cutter is configured to section the work-piece from the feedstock after it has started to be fed into the rewinder.
METHOD FOR OBTAINING SELF-ADHESIVE BOOKLET-LABEL TAPE, WITHOUT BACKING AND PROTECTION TAPE
The present abstract relates to a patent of invention for a method for obtaining a tape (1) for self-adhesive, linerless leaflet labels, pertaining to the field of self-adhesive articles, comprising: 1)—Providing and unwinding a self-adhesive-material tape (20); 2)—Printing labels (4) and sensing marks (6) on the tape (3) of the tape (20); 3)—Applying an adhesion control layer (40) to the printed face of the tape (3), preferably comprised by laminating a BOPP-film tape; 4)—Delaminating the liner (10) from the tape (20); 5)—Inverting the position of the liner (10) in relation to the remaining tape of the self-adhesive-material tape (20); 6)—Applying a layer (50) of adhesive to the face of the liner (10) that includes Corona treatment (13), facing the tape (3); 7)—Drying the adhesive (50); 8)—Applying the leaflets (7) to the tape (3) in correspondence with respective labels (4); 9)—Relaminating the liner (10); 10)—Slitting the leaflet-label linerless self-adhesive tape (1) obtained; and 11)—Winding up the finished self-adhesive linerless leaflet-label tape (1) to form the reel (11).
TAPE CASSETTE
A cassette case includes a bottom case and a top case. A tape is housed in the cassette case. A tape discharge portion discharges, from the cassette case, the tape that has been guided in the cassette case along a predetermined feed path. A first indicator portion indicates a type of the tape. A second indicator portion indicates a type of the tape, which is different from that indicated by the first indicator portion. An indicator member is a member independent from the top case and the bottom case, and is provided with the second indicator portion. An attachment portion is provided on the cassette case. The indicator member is removably attached to the attachment portion.
