PRINTER AND PRINTING PROGRAM
A printer includes a printing head that includes a plurality of heating elements arranged in a first direction and a processor, wherein printing data representing an image to be printed on a printing medium are divided into a plurality of line data, each of the plurality of line data representing a corresponding line segment of the image, extending in the first direction, by a series of dots constituted of printing dots to be printed on the printing medium and non-printing dots that are not printed on the printing medium, and wherein, for each of the line data, the processor obtains distribution information of the printing dots in the line data, and sets an energizing time, during which the selected heating elements are energized continuously, or intermittently by pulses, to print the corresponding printing dots, in accordance with the distribution information of the printing dots in the line data.
OVERHEAD LABEL PRINT AND APPLY SYSTEM
An overhead label print and apply system includes a conveyance path, a common label applier located above the conveyance path, a first label print and dispense unit and a second label print and dispense unit. The first label print and dispense unit is positionable to feed printed labels to the common label applier. The second label print and dispense unit is positionable to feed printed labels to the common label applier.
LABEL IMAGING AND CUTTING
The present invention discloses a method and apparatus for imaging and cutting a label from a linerless label substrate 6, the substrate 6 comprising: a paper or polymeric film base layer; a colour change layer, incorporating a colour change compound operable to change colour in response to illumination by a laser 1; an adhesive layer; and a release layer adapted to have low adherence to the adhesive layer. The label substrate 6 is transported from a storage reel to an imaging area. At the imaging area, the label substrate 6 is selectively illuminated by laser 1 to form an image in the colour change layer. Subsequently, further laser illumination is used to cut the label substrate 6 thereby providing a single label for application to an object. The invention is characterised in that the laser spot size is varied for imaging and cutting.
PRINTER
A printer for label printing includes a cutter to cut a continuous label after printing at a position inside of the surface with respect to the outer case of the printer. A separation sensor is disposed between the cutter and the thermal head. A sheet detection sensor is disposed downstream of the cutter in the feeding direction. The sensors are mounted in two stages on a common circuit board. The circuit board is disposed vertically along the feeding direction of the continuous label within the region where a cover-open button to open an opening and closing cover of the printer is disposed.
PRINTER
A printer according to the present invention includes a container configured to contain a roll body into which the belt-shaped mount is wound; an opening and closing cover configured to open or close the container; and a switching unit configure to be movable between a first position and a second position. When the switching unit is at the first position, printing is performed with the first ejection mode. When the switching unit is at the second position, printing is performed with the second ejection mode. A portion of the opening and closing cover contacts the switching unit so that the switching unit moves in a direction toward the second position, in response to a status change of the opening and closing cover from an opened status to a closed status.
ELASTIC ROLLER
Formation of a plurality of wear visibility grooves 10 has been focused. An elastic roller includes: an inner layer side elastic material 4; a coating layer 5 disposed on an outer periphery of the inner layer side elastic material 4, the coating layer configured to make contact with the belt-shaped member; and a plurality of wear visibility grooves 10 (11, 12, 13) formed on an inner side of the coating layer 5 and formed on a surface of the inner layer side elastic material 4 in a circumferential direction, the plurality of wear visibility grooves being successively formed in an axial direction of the roller shaft, wherein at least two grooves of the plurality of wear visibility grooves have different heights, and filler is filled in the plurality of wear visibility grooves 10, the filler having a color different from that of the inner layer side elastic material 4 and different from that of the coating layer 5, and material of the filler is the same as that of the coating layer 5.
EDIBLE AND BIODEGRADABLE PACKAGE MATERIALS
The invention relates to an edible and biodegradable package material composition and uses thereof. Specifically, the invention relates to a package material composition comprising a polysaccharide component, a protein component, or a combination thereof, in order to produce a transformational package that is both edible and naturally biodegradable. The package material composition of the invention provides a structural integrity to serve a full range of uses for packaging and shipping of both wet and dry products.
Apparatus and methods for labeling vials or ampoules stored at temperatures as low as -200 °C
This invention relates to an apparatus and method for applying writings and other markings to a frozen vial or ampoule, which is filled with biological material, and which is held at temperatures between about −70° C. and about −196° C. More particularly, the invention relates to a laser marking method that allows frozen vials to be labeled, while maintaining the integrity of the biological material contained therein.
PRINTER
According to an embodiment, a printer includes a display device and a controller device. The display device displays one of product information received from an external device and product information recorded in a memory device, as product-information-to-be-printed. When the printer is incapable of receiving the product information from the external device, the controller device controls the display device to display the product information recorded in the memory device, in a display mode indicating that the product-information-to-be-printed is the product information recorded in the memory device.
Printer
The disclosure discloses a printer including a first memory that stores computer-executable instructions that cause the printer to perform a terminal searching process, a job receiving process, and a coordination control process. In the terminal searching process, it is searched whether any of the operation terminals retains the printing job conforming to an accepting condition or not, by performing the mutually-recognized communication triggered by reception of a signal of an action-starting operation in a starting operation accepting process. In the job receiving process, in the case that some of the operation terminals retain the printing job conforming to the accepting condition, the printing job from the operation terminal is received. In the coordination control process, the printing head and the feeder are controlled in coordination with each other in the manner that the printed matter in accordance with print data in the printing job is produced.
