HIGH-TURNAROUND, CLOSED-LOOP, DIRECT TO GARMENT PRINTING
In one embodiment, a high-speed, closed-loop fabric printer comprises a plurality of consecutive stations that can be managed by a single operator. In particular, shirts or other fabric garments may be individually loaded and secured on a pallet by an operator, and the loaded pallets may then cycle through a plurality of unmanned stations positioned along a contiguous path (e.g., oval). The stations may be configured for pretreating the fabric surface, drying and pressing the pretreated fabric with heat, and then inkjet printing a selected image, among others. In this manner, a “wet-to-dry-to-wet” direct to garment (DTG) printing process may thus be achieved, along with optimal controls for maximum adaptability. Furthermore, due to the closed-loop design, a recently printed fabric product returns to the operator to be unloaded at the position in which a new unprinted fabric is loaded, allowing for increased throughput and minimal operator requirements.
INKJET PRINTING APPARATUS
Provided is an inkjet printing apparatus for printing an aqueous ink on a fabric containing: a printing device for ejecting the aqueous ink onto the fabric; a coating device located downstream of the printing device for applying a cleaning liquid containing no eluate from the fabric to the fabric; and a removing device located downstream of the coating device of the cleaning liquid for removing the cleaning liquid.
Digital Double-sided Printing Machine with Smooth Helical Printing Trajectory
A digital printing machine comprises a cylindrical drum assembly on the rigid printing framework. A cylindrical drum moves along and rotates about its central cylindrical axis and a stationary printing head with multiple nozzles placed proximately above the circumference of the cylindrical drum. The combined linear and rotational movements of the cylindrical drum enable the printing head to create a smooth helical printing trajectory on the flexible fabrics. The cylindrical drum of the digital printing machine also works as a working drum to hold a piece of flexible textile to be printed. A double-side printing mechanism allows the digital printing machine to automatically carry out the second side printing.
Recording apparatus and method for moving medium support unit
A recording apparatus includes a medium support unit that is capable of moving by driving of a motor in a moving direction and is capable of supporting a medium, a recording unit that records an image onto the medium supported on the medium support unit, and a control unit that allows the motor to execute an assist operation for assisting the movement of the medium support unit when recognizing the movement of the medium support unit without depending on the driving of the motor.
PROCESS AND SYSTEM FOR CONTINUOUS INKJET PRINTING
A process for printing a coagulating ink composition directly on a substrate being supported by an adhesive surface, effected by cleaning the adhesive surface with a cleaning composition capable of removing residues of coagulated ink composition from the adhesive surface is provided, as well as a system for carrying out the process and a formulation for the cleaning composition. The cleaning composition comprises a weak organic base (preferably EDTA salts) and is characterized by a pH level of at least 7.5.
Pigment textile printing ink jet ink composition, pigment textile printing ink jet ink composition set, and ink jet pigment textile printing method
A pigment textile printing ink jet ink composition contains a pigment, a resin particle, a nonionic fluorine-based surfactant, and water.
Method of printing onto apparel and apparatus
A method and system for printing to apparel includes a receptacle configured to receive articles of apparel, such as socks. The receptacle includes perforations and an inner ink absorbing layer. The receptacle is rotated beneath a print head assembly. The ink can be cured using heating devices.
MEDIUM FEEDING APPARATUS
A medium feeding apparatus includes a feeding portion that performs a feeding operation, which feeds a medium to a downstream side, and a reverse feeding operation, which feeds the medium to an upstream side, and a wind-up portion that performs a wind-up operation, which winds up a medium fed to the downstream side by the feeding operation, and a unwinding operation that unwinds the wound up medium, in which the wind-up portion performs the unwinding operation prior to the reverse feeding operation.
Color density based thickness compensation printing
A method for printing a three-dimensional object includes printing a structural layer onto a three-dimensional object, printing a first color layer onto a first region of the structural layer, and printing a second color layer onto a second region of the structural layer. The first region includes a first structural thickness, and the second region includes a second structural thickness, which is different than the first structural thickness. The first color layer includes a first color and a first color thickness, and the first color thickness and the first structural thickness in combination form a target thickness. The second color layer includes a second color and a second color thickness, and the second color thickness and the second structural thickness in combination form the target thickness.
INKJET PRINTER, DYE PRINTING METHOD, AND INK
A dye printing method and an ink capable of performing printing on more types of media than in the related art are shown. A dye printing method using ink 10 containing a solvent 11, and particles of a thermoplastic resin dispersed in the solvent 11 and containing a dye 13 is characterized by including a printing process of performing a printing on a medium 20 with the ink 10, a particle fixing process of fixing the particles 12 to the medium 20 by drying the solvent 11 of the ink 10 ejected to the medium 20 by the printing process, and a resin fixing process of fixing the thermoplastic resin to the medium 20 by heating the particles 12 fixed to the medium 20 by the particle fixing process, at least at a glass-transition temperature or higher.
