The jacket is attached to a first surface of the baseplate, and is configured to hold an information terminal. A system for performing substrateless and/or local donor Laser Induced Forward Transfer (LIFT), comprising a reservoir comprising at least one opening and an energy source configured to deliver energy to a donor material within said reservoir, characterized by at least one of: said reservoir is embedded into a medical device; said reservoir is in fluid connection with a medical device; said reservoir is incorporated into a medical device; said reservoir contains at least one biologically active substance; and, said reservoir is in fluid connection with at least one source of at least one biologically active substance. This system enables deposition of material by LIFT without any need for a donor substrate. Methods of substrateless and local donor LIFT, in particular for medical and biological applications, are also disclosed.

A digital inkjet flatbed printer having a separate laser processing machine includes a laser processing machine and a digital inkjet printer. The laser processing machine is provided with a laser output module and a laser processing platform. The digital inkjet printer includes an inkjet output module and an inkjet operating platform. The inkjet operating platform is capable of movably ascending from and descending onto the digital inkjet printer. Thus, when the inkjet operating platform is descended, the laser processing machine is movably connected to the inkjet operating platform, such that the laser output module of the laser processing machine and the inkjet output module of the digital inkjet printer are on the laser processing platform of the laser processing machine and sequentially used for laser processing and inkjet printing respectively.

A method of reproducing a cellular phone snapshot on a shirt at a remote location. The method comprises providing a mobile vehicle, installing a t-shirt printing machine in the vehicle, wherein the t-shirt printing machine can operatively connect to a cellular phone device and accept a digital transmission, providing an operator of the t-shirt printing machine that interacts with the public at remote locations to offer and solicit the service of printing snapshots from their cellular phone devices on t-shirts, receiving the snapshots solicited on the t-shirt printing machine, printing the t-shirts on the t-shirt printing machines at the remote locations, and delivering the t-shirts to the public at the remote locations. The method may further comprise accepting payment for the t-shirts upon the t-shirts being accepted by the public solicited.
