Display control device and image forming apparatus
A display control device includes a display section and a display controller. The display controller controls the display section so as to cause the display section to display a first image and a second image. The first image is displayed in an upper layer for the second image. The first image represents a category item. The second image represents a setting item belonging to the category item. The display controller controls the display section so as to cause the display section to display a predetermined image in the first image according to the setting item that has been entered.
PRINTING APPARATUS
A printing apparatus includes a conveyance unit configured to be able to convey a roll sheet that is wound in a rolled shape and a cut sheet that is not wound in a rolled shape to a printing unit configured to print an image, a receiving unit detachably attached to the apparatus, the receiving unit being configured to receive the cut sheet onto which printing has been performed by the printing unit; a detection unit configured to detect whether the receiving unit is attached to the apparatus; and a holding unit configured to, in a case where the detection unit detects that the receiving unit is not attached to the apparatus, nip to hold the cut sheet onto which printing has been performed by the printing unit.

Calibration of runout error in a digital printing system
Printing apparatus (20) includes a continuous blanket (24) and a set of motorized rollers (31), which advance the blanket at a constant speed through an image area. One or more print bars (38) eject droplets of ink at respective locations onto the blanket in the image area. One or more monitoring rollers (42), in proximity to the locations of the print bars, contact the blanket so as to be rotated by advancement of the blanket. Each monitoring roller includes an encoder (44), which outputs a signal indicative of a rotation angle of the monitoring roller. A control unit (40) collects, during a calibration phase, the signal from the encoders over multiple rotations of the monitoring rollers and computes runout correction factors. During an operational phase, the control unit synchronizes ejection of the droplets from the print bars using the computed runout correction factors.

INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, TAPE PRINTING APPARATUS, PRINTING SYSTEM, METHOD OF CONTROLLING INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, AND STORAGE MEDIUM STORING PROGRAM FOR CONTROLLING INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS
An information processing apparatus includes: a display controller; a letter-size setting section that sets a letter size of a letter string over a plurality of lines which has been entered through an edit screen; and a print controller that prints the letter string in the letter size set by the letter-size setting section. The letter-size setting section can differently set letter sizes of the letter string. When a line feed operation is performed at a head or end of an n-th line through the edit screen, a letter size of the n-th line preset in accordance with a user's designation, the letter-size setting section sets a letter size of one of the n-th line and an (n+1)-th line after the line feed operation so that a length of letter string over the plurality of lines is equal to or shorter than a length of the printable area.
INKJET PRINTING APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR INSPECTING INKJET HEAD USING SAME
Provided are an inkjet printing apparatus and a method for inspecting an inkjet head using same. The inkjet printing apparatus comprises: an inspection stage unit on which an inspection substrate is seated; an inkjet head unit including at least one inkjet head that ejects ink containing dipoles and a solvent in which the dipoles disperse, on the inspection stage unit; and a particle count inspection unit that is located so as to be spaced apart from the inkjet head unit in one direction. The particle count inspection unit comprises: a first heat treatment unit that is located on the top portion of the inspection stage unit; and a first sensing unit that is located on the bottom portion of the inspection stage unit and measures the number of dipoles sprayed onto the inspection substrate.
