Printing device and printing system

When a printing interruption cause occurs during printing of an image on a printing medium, printing of a page being printed is completed, and further only a position mark is printed on a printing resumption page. Then, a printing unit is stopped, and a conveyance speed is decelerated to stop conveyance of the printing medium. Next, the printing medium is rewound so that printing is resumed from the printing resumption page. Thereafter, the conveyance speed is accelerated to a predetermined speed, and printing is resumed from the printing resumption page on which the position mark is printed.

Method of printing at least two print jobs on one printing machine

A method includes the steps of: a) printing a first print job on a printing machine using a printing fluid, a substrate, a specified ICC profile, and a first machine setting; b) preparing the printing operation of a second print job involving a change of the printing fluid and/or of the substrate; and c) printing the second print job using a second combination of printing fluid and substrate. Step b) includes: b1) printing a test print having a plurality of test fields; b2) recording the test fields; b3) computationally determining and saving a quality value based on the test fields; b4) determining and saving an adjustment value for a machine setting; and b5) selectively changing a printing machine setting from the first machine setting to a second machine setting using the adjustment value or keeping the first printing machine setting, and the making a choice based on a quality value.

Onepass system inkjet printing control method, device and storage medium

A Onepass system inkjet printing control method, device and storage are provided. The method includes: dividing all physical channels into several groups according to a printing requirement command, defining one group as a printing module, wherein each of the printing modules includes x physical channels, x≥1, x is an integer; configuring n logical channels for each printing module, wherein n≥x, n is an integer; starting a printing command, and extracting corresponding printing data from the printing memory in units of the logical channel; processing the printing data according to the printing parameters and then inputting it into the corresponding physical channel for inkjet printing. The solution of the present invention ensures that each printing module can independently control the printing task during printing.

Printhead accessory

In one example method, a determination is made via a processor that a document is to be printed using a printer including a printhead assembly and a printhead accessory based on a received print job. A determination is made via the processor that a first portion of the document is to be printed by the printhead assembly and a second portion is to be printed by the printhead accessory based on a characteristic of the printhead accessory. The first portion of the document is printed via the printhead assembly and the second portion of the document is printed via the printhead accessory.

OUT INDICATOR SHEETS

Embodiments are directed to a dispensing device and methods of using a dispensing device having an improved out indicator. The dispensing device includes a housing having a cavity. A tissue stack is disposed within the cavity, the tissue stack including a plurality of tissue sheets folded along a crease. An aperture is formed in a top surface of the housing such that a tissue sheet is removable from the cavity through the aperture. A portion of the tissue sheets includes an out indicator formed along a centerline of each tissue sheet and across the crease.

Systems and methods for predicting printing device failures or maintenance needs

A system for monitoring an inkjet printing device and predicting failures or maintenance needs. The system includes one or more memory devices; a print analysis engine stored in the one or more memory devices to monitor the print output from the inkjet printing device, operation of the inkjet printing device, or any combination thereof; and one or more processor devices to perform actions, including: monitoring print output from the inkjet printing device, operation of the inkjet printing device, or any combination thereof; based on the monitoring, predicting a failure or maintenance need of the inkjet printing device; based on the prediction, suggesting or performing maintenance on the inkjet printing device to address the predicted failure or maintenance need; and, after maintenance has been performed, monitoring the print output, operation of the printing device, or any combination thereof to determine whether the predicted failure or maintenance need has been resolved.

Image recording apparatus

An upper supply tray is mounted at an upper mount position in a housing. A lower supply tray is mounted at a lower mount position lower than the upper mount position in the housing. A first print engine records an image on a sheet conveyed from the upper supply tray. A second print engine records an image on a sheet conveyed from the lower supply tray. A lower discharge tray supports the sheet on which the image is recorded by the first print engine. An upper discharge tray supports the sheet on which the image is recorded by the second print engine. The upper discharge tray is located at a higher position than the lower discharge tray. A first display displays at least: a first correspondence between the lower discharge tray and the upper supply tray; or a second correspondence between the upper discharge tray and the lower supply tray.

PRINTING APPARATUS FOR PRINTING DIRECTLY ONTO CONTAINERS
20220219465 · 2022-07-14 · ·

An apparatus includes a plurality of print heads configured to print directly on a curved surface of each of the plurality of containers and a plurality of container holders for retraining each of the plurality of containers. Each of the plurality of container holders is configured to rotate a container retained therewithin and to move the container linearly relative to the plurality print heads in a continuous motion to maintain a print location on the curved surface of each of the plurality of containers at a substantially constant perpendicular distance from each of the plurality of print heads during a printing process. The apparatus may also provide for movement of the print heads during the printing process.
