APPARATUSES AND METHODS FOR PRINTING SECURITY DOCUMENTS
A digital printing press for printing security documents is provided. The digital printing press comprises: a first digital print head, the first digital printhead comprising a first array of print nozzles having a first nozzle diameter; a second digital print head, the second digital print head comprising a second array of print nozzles having a second nozzle diameter different from the first nozzle diameter; optionally, an offset printing unit, the offset printing unit comprising one or more offset printing surfaces, wherein the offset printing unit is adapted to transport a print area of the one or more offset printing surfaces sequentially past each of the first and second digital print heads, and subsequently to transfer print received from the first and second digital print heads to a security document substrate; a transport system adapted to transport a security document substrate along a transport path through the digital printing press, wherein either the transport path takes the security document sequentially past each of the first and second digital print heads in a feed direction, or the transport path takes the security document substrate past the offset printing unit, if provided, in a feed direction; a controller adapted to control both the first and second digital print heads to execute a set of printing instructions so as to print on a security document substrate transported past the first and second digital print heads by the transport system or to print on the print area of the one or more offset printing surfaces transported past the first and second digital print heads by the offset printing unit (and to transfer the print received on the print area of the offset printing to the security document substrate), the set of printing instructions including printing instructions at a first resolution for the first digital print head for printing a first print working and printing instructions at a second resolution different from the first resolution for the second digital print head for printing a second print working; wherein the first digital print head is configured to print at the first resolution and the second digital print head is configured to print at the second resolution, and wherein the first and second digital print heads are configured or controlled by the controller to remain static relative to the transport path or offset printing unit while the first and second digital print heads execute the respective printing instructions.
Ink jet head assembly and apparatus for processing a substrate
An apparatus for processing a substrate may include a stage on which a substrate is placed, an ink jet head assembly for discharging chemical liquid onto the substrate, and a gantry for holding the ink jet head assembly over the substrate on the stage. The ink jet head assembly may include an ink jet head for discharging the chemical liquid onto the substrate, a supporting member for holding the ink jet head, a fixing member being combined with supporting member to fix the supporting member to the fixing member, a protruding member disposed on the fixing member, and a receiving member provided in the supporting member to receive the protruding member.
Liquid ejection device
The present disclosure provides a liquid ejection device to which an additional head can be attached and which suppresses a reduction in print quality. The liquid ejection device includes a main scanning drive portion that transports, in a main scanning direction, a carriage on which are mounted a base printing head that ejects ink for base printing onto a print medium, and a color printing head that ejects at least two colors of ink, from yellow, magenta, cyan, and black, onto the print medium, the base printing head and the color printing head being separated from each other in the sub-scanning direction. Between the base printing head and the color printing head on the carriage, the liquid ejection device includes an additional head attachment portion to which the additional head can be added.
Liquid Discharge Apparatus
a≥b≥0, p≥1, q≥1, where a is a number of pairs each consisting of two adjacent first head units, b is a number of pairs each consisting of two adjacent second head units, p is a number of first head units, and q is a number of second head units.
MODULAR PRINTING MACHINE FOR CERAMIC PRODUCTS
A digital printer machine for ceramic products, including at least one conveyor, suitable for transporting the products to be printed along a feed direction, and at least one printing module, positioned along said conveyor and comprising an operating unit with respective print heads provided with nozzles for dispensing at least one printing fluid to be deposited on the surface of the products. The printing module includes a basement provided with a recess (R), underlying the operating unit, wherein the conveyor is inserted to make the products pass under the heads; the basement further comprises two completely flat and free lateral opposite flanks, so that the printing module can be matched to other modules along the conveyor until a complete mutual matching is obtained.
CONVEYANCE APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A conveyance apparatus includes a liquid discharge head unit, a conveyance rotator, and a plurality of detection devices. The liquid discharge head unit discharge liquid to an object conveyed in a conveyance direction. The conveyance rotator conveys the object. The plurality of detection devices output a detection result indicating a position of the object. The adjacent two of the plurality of detection devices are spaced at a prescribed distance. The prescribed distance is an integral multiple of a circumference of the conveyance rotator.
Image recording apparatus
A first cover moves between a first closed position and a first open position. The first cover is located at another end of a housing when the first cover is located at the first closed position. A second cover moves between a second closed position and a second open position. The second cover is located closer to one end than the first cover is at the first closed position and at the second closed position. A first portion of a first conveyance path is formed between the first cover and the second cover at the first closed position and at the second closed position. A second portion of a second conveyance path is formed at a side of the second cover facing the one end at the second closed position. When the first cover opens the first portion, the second cover is located at the second closed position.
Liquid discharge apparatus
a≥b≥0, p≥1, q≥1, where a is a number of pairs each consisting of two adjacent first head units, b is a number of pairs each consisting of two adjacent second head units, p is a number of first head units, and q is a number of second head units.
Image recording apparatus configured to generate data indicating correspondence between supply tray and discharge tray
An upper supply tray is mounted at an upper mount position in a housing. A lower supply tray is mounted at a lower mount position lower than the upper mount position in the housing. A first print engine records an image on a sheet conveyed from the upper supply tray. A second print engine records an image on a sheet conveyed from the lower supply tray. A lower discharge tray supports the sheet on which the image is recorded by the first print engine. An upper discharge tray supports the sheet on which the image is recorded by the second print engine. The upper discharge tray is located at a higher position than the lower discharge tray. A first display displays at least: a first correspondence between the lower discharge tray and the upper supply tray; or a second correspondence between the upper discharge tray and the lower supply tray.
Out indicator sheets
Embodiments are directed to a dispensing device and methods of using a dispensing device having an improved out indicator. The dispensing device includes a housing having a cavity. A tissue stack is disposed within the cavity, the tissue stack including a plurality of tissue sheets folded along a crease. An aperture is formed in a top surface of the housing such that a tissue sheet is removable from the cavity through the aperture. A portion of the tissue sheets includes an out indicator formed along a centerline of each tissue sheet and across the crease.
