INK JET RECORDING APPARATUS
Provided is a highly reliable ink jet recording apparatus capable of preventing the occurrence of image defects. The ink jet recording apparatus includes a liquid absorbing device including a porous body configured to absorb/remove an aqueous liquid component from an image containing the aqueous liquid component and a coloring material, a heat drying device configured to perform a heat drying treatment of the image after being subjected to the liquid absorption treatment, a temperature measuring device configured to measure the temperature of the image after being subjected to the heat drying treatment with the heat drying device, and a determination unit configured to determine the state of the liquid absorbing device from the measured temperature.
Method and dryer system for drying a fluid mixture
Thermal energy is supplied to a fluid mixture on a substrate that has a first component, for example water, and a second component, for example cosolvent, such that the proportion of the second component in the fluid mixture is increased at relatively high temperatures of the fluid mixture. It may thus be reliably produced that an optimally small quantity of the second component is located on the surface of the substrate following the drying process.
PRINTING DEVICE AND PRINTING SYSTEM
When a printing interruption cause occurs during printing of an image on a printing medium, printing of a page being printed is completed, and further only a position mark is printed on a printing resumption page. Then, a printing unit is stopped, and a conveyance speed is decelerated to stop conveyance of the printing medium. Next, the printing medium is rewound so that printing is resumed from the printing resumption page. Thereafter, the conveyance speed is accelerated to a predetermined speed, and printing is resumed from the printing resumption page on which the position mark is printed.
Printing device dryer setting
According to an example, an apparatus may include a controller and a non-transitory computer readable medium on which is stored instructions. The instructions may cause the controller to predict that a user is to instruct a printing device to perform a printing operation, in which the printing device includes a dryer, identify the user in response to the prediction, to access a user profile corresponding to the identified user, in which the accessed profile identifies a type of document that the identified user typically prints, and to adjust a setting of the dryer according to the identified type of document in the accessed profile.
LIQUID DISCHARGE APPARATUS AND LIQUID DISCHARGE METHOD
A liquid discharge apparatus includes a liquid discharge head, a drying unit, and circuitry. The liquid discharge head performs a liquid discharge operation that includes discharging liquid onto a medium. The drying unit radiates heat to dry the liquid adhering to the medium. The circuitry moves the liquid discharge head. Further, the circuitry changes a drying target position on the medium after the liquid discharge head performs the liquid discharge operation. The drying target position is an area where the heat from the drying unit reaches.
Drying Unit for a Printing Device for Printing With Ink to a Recording Medium in the Form of a Web
A drying unit for a printing device for printing with ink to a recording medium in the form of a web includes at least one heating element. The recording medium to be dried is movable along an emission region of the heating element. The emission region is arranged angled in the transport direction of the recording medium.
PERSONALIZATION VENDING KIOSK
Kiosk systems are used for personalizing articles. The articles may include an item to be personalized assembled with components of packaging in a pre-hooped configuration. The system may include a housing and a personalization system within the housing. The personalization system may include a plurality of system components for personalizing the article. The system may also include a conveying system within the housing. The conveying system may be used to transfer the article in the pre-hooped configuration between the system components of the personalization systems. The system may also include a control system in the housing and/or remote from the housing. The control system may receive a personalization order and in response the control system may control the system components of the personalization systems and the conveying system so that the article is personalized without human intervention once within the housing.
PRINTING APPARATUS
A printing apparatus includes a printing section that performs printing on a medium containing calcium carbonate, a transport section that rotationally drives a transport belt that forms at least a portion of a transport path in which the medium is transported, a voltage supply section that supplies a charging voltage to a charging roller for charging the transport belt, a detection section that detects whether or not charging abnormality has occurred in the transport belt, a determination section that determines whether a cause of the charging abnormality is abnormality of the voltage supply section or abnormality of the transport belt, and a machine learning section that performs machine learning of a determination condition in the determination section, based on a learning model in which a rotation amount of the transport belt and a detection result of the detection section are associated with each other.
PRINTING APPARATUS AND PRINTING METHOD
A printing apparatus 1 includes a pretreatment unit 4 that applies a processing liquid containing a polar material to a fabric M, a printing unit 5 that applies ink containing a color material to the fabric M applied with the processing liquid, and an AC electric field generator 62 that generates an AC electric field. The AC electric field generator 62 includes a first electrodes 71 and a second electrode 72 that face the fabric M and that are disposed adjacent to each other, a high-frequency voltage generator 77 that generates a high-frequency voltage to be applied to the first electrodes 71 and the second electrode 72, and a conductors 73 that electrically connects the first electrodes 71 and the second electrode 72 to the high-frequency voltage generator 77.
PRINTING APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR GENERATING COLOR CHART DATA
A printing apparatus includes a control unit configured to generate color chart data, a transport unit configured to intermittently transport a medium, a printing unit configured to print a colorimetric patches on a processing unit region, a drying unit configured to dry the processing unit region, and a colorimetric unit configured to measure a color of the colorimetric patches in the processing unit region subjected to the drying, wherein the control unit is configured to acquire, based on a printing setting, a drying holding time during which the processing unit region is held at the drying unit, calculate a color-measurable patch number which is measurable by the colorimetric unit within the drying holding time, and generate the color chart data for printing a number of the colorimetric patches in the processing unit region, the number being less than or equal to the color-measurable patch number.
