Carriage structure and printer
Provided are a carriage structure capable of preventing a carriage from contacting a side edge of a print medium, without requiring a discharge roller and facilitating reducing device size, and a printer having the carriage structure. Disposed to a carriage 21 carrying and inkjet head 22 and moving bidirectionally through a range of movement including the conveyance path of a cut-sheet paper S are: a panel member 78 able to protrude in the direction of carriage 21 movement; and a moving mechanism 126 causing the panel member 78 to protrude to the conveyance path of the cut-sheet paper S when the carriage 21 is at a standby position (home position) set in the range of carriage 21 movement.
HEAD LEADING MEMBER, PRINTING MACHINE, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF HEAD LEADING MEMBER
To provide a head leading member with which it is possible to inexpensively lead a head with a high level of accuracy. A head leading member is a head leading member, provided in a printing machine that includes a head to discharge ink toward a working surface, for leading the head in a main travelling direction; and the head leading member comprises; a frame extending in the main travelling direction; a base member fixed to the frame, and having a guiding reference surface that is performed with a manufacture so as to be planar along the main travelling direction, in a state of being fixed to the frame; and a guide member extending in the main travelling direction and being supported on the guiding reference surface of the base member, in order to lead the head in the main travelling direction.
Image Recording Apparatus
An image recording apparatus includes a recording section which is provided over a transport passage for transporting a sheet in a transport direction and which has nozzles for discharging an ink onto the sheet; a platen which is provided under the recording section with the transport passage intervening therebetween and which has a plurality of ribs provided to support the sheet while being separated from each other in a widthwise direction of the transport passage perpendicular to the transport direction, the respective ribs protruding upwardly and extending in the transport direction; and a plurality of holding members which are provided to be positioned between the plurality of ribs in the widthwise direction of the transport passage over the platen on an upstream side in the transport direction from the nozzles and which abut against an upper surface of the sheet and press the sheet toward the platen.
Friction reduction system and method
A friction reduction system for reducing friction of an intermediate transfer member (ITM) of a printing system, while the ITM is guided along the printing system by a guiding arrangement. The friction reduction system includes a fluid reservoir mounted within the printing system, a fluid depositing arrangement disposed along the ITM, and a control mechanism, adapted to control depositing of fluid, from the fluid depositing arrangement onto the guiding arrangement or onto at least a portion of the ITM. Depositing of the fluid reduces friction between the ITM and the guiding arrangement.
RELAY TRANSPORT DEVICE, RECORDING SYSTEM, AND FEEDING SYSTEM
A relay transport device configured to relay and transport a medium fed from the feeding device to the recording device includes a first restriction section having a first restriction surface configured to position one first edge of the medium in a width direction of the medium fed from the feeding device; a transport section configured to transport the medium toward the first restriction surface; a first auxiliary guide disposed downstream of the first restriction section in the transport direction and having a first auxiliary guide surface configured to restrict a position of the first edge of the medium; and a second auxiliary guide disposed on an opposite side from the first auxiliary guide with the medium interposed therebetween and having a second auxiliary guide surface configured to restrict a position of a second edge of the medium on the opposite side from the first edge.
Printer and non-transitory computer-readable medium storing program
There is provided a printer including: a printing part having: a conveyor configured to convey a medium in a conveying direction; a printing head having a plurality of nozzles from which an ink of a specified color is discharged and of which positions in the conveying direction are mutually different, the printing head being configured to discharge the ink from the plurality of nozzles to the medium so as to form dots in the medium; and a facing member configured to be capable of facing a print surface of the medium on an upstream side in the conveying direction with respect to the plurality of nozzles of the printing head; and a controller.
Mount for sticking sticky note thereto and medium storing program executable by controller
A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing programs executable by a controller that causes a print execution device to execute printing is provided. The print execution device includes: a print head provided with nozzles aligned in a sub scanning direction; a holding member which holds a part of a printing medium conveyed in the sub scanning direction; and a head driving device which causes the print head to execute a main scanning operation. The programs cause the controller to execute: a first acquiring process for acquiring first object data which represents a first object image to be printed on a first sticky note; a generating process for generating printing data for the print execution device to execute the printing of the first object image on the first sticky note by utilizing the first object data; and a supply process for supplying the printing data to the print execution device.
Recording apparatus
In a support member that is disposed to face a liquid emitting head and supports a medium, in a first region through which an edge of a first medium in a medium width direction passes, a liquid receiving portion is provided which receives a liquid emitted on a region deviated from the edge of the first medium in the medium width direction, and in a second region as a region through which an edge of a second medium in which a size thereof in the medium width direction is larger than that of the first medium passes, an absorbing material disposing portion at which a liquid absorbing material which absorbs the liquid guided from the liquid receiving portion is disposed to be capable of being exposed from an upper side of the support member is provided.
RECORDING APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
A recording apparatus includes discharge rollers configured to perform a discharge operation of discharging a recording medium on which an image has been recorded by a recording head to the outside of the recording apparatus, and a height-change member configured to change a height of the recording head in parallel with the discharging operation.
Ink-jet recording apparatus
An ink-jet recording apparatus includes a plurality of recording heads, a wipe unit, and an entry prevention member. The wipe unit includes a wiper for wiping an ink ejection face in a predetermined direction. The entry prevention member is arranged between the recording heads in a sheet conveying direction to prevent the recording medium from entering the gaps between the recording heads. The entry prevention member is configured to be movable in an up-down direction, is arranged in an entry prevention position where its lower face is flush with, or projects below, the ink ejection face during printing operation, and is arranged in a retracted position where the lower face is retracted above the ink ejection face during wiping operation by the wipe unit.
