Printer
A printer that performs printing for a print region of a glass plate includes a conveying unit that includes a plurality of paired rollers adapted to sandwich both side faces of the plate, brings the paired rollers respectively in contact with the both side faces with an urging force, and conveys the plate only by the plurality of the paired rollers; a printing unit that includes a printhead and a swinging unit adapted to swing the printhead between a printing position and a retracting position and shifts the printhead to the printing position so as to come in contact with the print region by the swinging unit when printing, and performs printing for the print region by the printhead; and a suppressing guide unit that regulates floating-up of the plate when printing by coming in contact with the plate only on a neighborhood region of the side face.
Apparatus to flatten a substrate along a print path of a printer
Disclosed here is an apparatus to flatten the substrate as the substrate travels along the print path of a printer, thus reducing damage to the transport belt, motor, gearbox, etc., and increasing print quality. The apparatus includes two strapping metal bands mounted on the printer and parallel to the print path. The two strapping metal bands are under tension from a torsion spring and a ratchet placed at least at one end of the print path. In a rest position, the two strapping metal bands are lifted off the transport belt. When a printhead of the printer lowers to engage in printing, the printhead pushes on the two strapping metal bands causing them to push the edges of the substrate downward, thus increasing the flatness of the substrate.
RECORDING DEVICE AND CONTROL METHOD FOR RECORDING DEVICE
A recording device includes a recording unit, a support unit, a roller pair downstream of the recording unit and configured to transport the medium, a plurality of regulating members disposed between the recording unit and the roller pair and configured to touch the medium from above, and an inversion path configured to invert front-to-back the medium on which recording was performed and to merge upstream of the recording unit, where a nip point of the roller pair is positioned higher than the support face, a bottom end of each regulating member is disposed at a position for pushing the medium down lower than the nip point of the roller pair and of the plurality of regulating members, the regulating members disposed at both end portion sides in the width direction apply less load on the medium than the regulating member disposed toward a center in the width direction.
SUPPLY DEVICE FOR ROLL MEDIUM AND RECORDING DEVICE
A supply device for a roll medium includes a drawer-type lower holding unit configured to support a shaft of a roll medium to hold the roll medium, and a guide member configured to be pressed in a direction toward the shaft from below to come into contact with the roll medium held by the lower holding unit, and be displaced in accordance with a change in an outer diameter of the roll medium. In addition, the lower holding unit is configured to be drawn from a main body of the supply device in a first direction. When the lower holding unit, in a drawn-out state, is stored in the main body of the supply unit, the guide member comes into contact with the roll medium. The guide member is caused to be retracted downward from a travel path of the lower holding unit against a force pressing upward from below.
Printer with adjustable sliding plane
The invention relates to an ink-jet printer including: a support structure including two side walls; a transfer apparatus slidable for advancing the substrate in a direction x, the transfer apparatus comprising a conveyor belt and a stationary support plane; a print device including a print head operating along a direction y, perpendicular to the direction x; retaining means for maintaining the substrate adhering to the conveyor belt; and adjusting means of the transfer apparatus. The support plane includes two side ends which rest on the side walls. The adjusting means of the transfer apparatus include at least one side adjusting assembly positioned between a side wall and the respective side end of the support plane.
MANUFACTURING METHOD OF HEAD LEADING MEMBER
A manufacturing method of a head leading member, which is provided in a printing machine including a head for discharging an ink toward a working surface, in order to lead the head in a main travelling direction, and the manufacturing method of a head leading member including: a base member fixing step in which a base member, being like a plate, is fixed to a frame extending in the main travelling direction; a guiding reference surface shaping step in which a surface of the base member, in a state of being fixed to the frame, is so manufactured as to be a plane, being along the main travelling direction, in such a way as to shape a guiding reference surface; and a guide member supporting step in which a guide member for leading the head is set in such a way that the guiding reference surface supports the guide member.
RECORDING APPARATUS
A printer includes a transport unit, a line head, and a head moving unit. The transport unit supports a medium during transport. The line head performs recording on the medium that is disposed so as to face the transport unit at one or more recording positions of recording on the medium. The head moving unit moves the line head to one or more retreat positions away from the transport unit with respect to the recording position. In addition, the head moving unit moves the line head in a B direction intersecting both an X direction and a Z direction.
RECORDING DEVICE
A recording device has: a recording head configured to perform recording on a medium; a medium storage below the recording head configured to store the medium to be recoded; a supply path comprising a first curved supply path curved so as to be convex upward and transporting the medium fed out of the medium storage in a reversed direction via the first curved supply path; and a reversing path comprising a second curved path curved so as to be convex downward and transporting the recorded medium into a direction including a vertically upward component via second curved path from a direction including a vertically downward component; wherein the supply path joins the reversing path, and the first curved path and the second curved path overlap when viewed horizontally.
RECORDING HEAD UNIT, RECORDING DEVICE, AND RECORDING METHOD
A recording head unit includes a first line head and a second line head in which nozzles are provided in an X-axis direction. The first line head is arranged on one side of the second line head in a Y-axis direction intersecting the X-axis direction. The first line head includes a first windbreak member. The second line head includes a second windbreak member. A length by which the first windbreak member protrudes is smaller than a length by which the second windbreak member protrudes.
Recording apparatus and conveying apparatus
A recording apparatus includes a conveying unit, a supporting unit, and a static elimination unit. The conveying unit conveys a recording medium in a first direction to a recording area where recording is performed by a recording unit. The supporting unit supports the recording medium conveyed by the conveying unit and includes an abutment surface that abuts the recording medium when the supporting unit supports the recording medium. The static elimination unit eliminates static from the recording medium in a static elimination portion. The static elimination portion is not provided at a position opposed to the abutment surface and is provided at a position not opposed to the abutment surface in the supporting unit.
