An end unit includes: a processing tray including an upper surface on which a medium subjected to recording by a recording unit is mounted; a first paddle and a second paddle that transport, in direction +A, the medium mounted on the upper surface; an alignment section that aligns an edge portion of the medium, which was transported in direction +A by the first paddle and the second paddle, in direction +A; a post-processing section that performs post-processing for the medium aligned by the alignment section; and a load member that applies a load when the medium on the processing tray moves in direction −A opposite to direction +A.

A recording device has: a recording head configured to perform recording on a medium; a medium storage below the recording head configured to store the medium to be recoded; a supply path comprising a first curved supply path curved so as to be convex upward and transporting the medium fed out of the medium storage in a reversed direction via the first curved supply path; and a reversing path comprising a second curved path curved so as to be convex downward and transporting the recorded medium into a direction including a vertically upward component via second curved path from a direction including a vertically downward component; wherein the supply path joins the reversing path, and the first curved path and the second curved path overlap when viewed horizontally.

Provided is a recording material processing apparatus including: a recording material support portion configured to support a recording material loaded thereon from below; a contact member disposed on a side of the recording material loaded on the recording material support portion and configured to be pushed by an edge portion of the recording material, the contact member being configured to move to a side opposite to the side of the recording material; an elastic member configured to receive a load from the contact member pushed by the edge portion of the recording material; and a member support portion disposed without contacting the recording material loaded on the recording material support portion and configured to support the contact member.

A printing apparatus includes a supply unit, a supply path, first and second conveyance paths, a printing unit, and an inversion roller. The first conveyance path conveys, to a first direction, a print medium. The printing unit prints an image on the two surface of the print medium. The inversion roller inverts a conveyance direction of the print medium and conveys the print medium in a second direction. The second conveyance path conveys the print medium conveyed in the second direction to the first conveyance path while inverting the print medium. When performing printing on both sides of print media, the print media are convey such that a first print medium supplied from the second conveyance path and a second print medium supplied from the supply path overlap in the first conveyance path.

A printing device includes: a substrate feed-out section; a substrate transport section; a storage which stores the width size of the substrate; a skew correction section including a skew sensor which detects the skew of the substrate, and adapted to correct the skew of the substrate with reference to an output of the skew sensor and the substrate width size stored in the storage; an image recording section which performs an image recording operation on the substrate; a first sensor which detects a width size-changed portion of the substrate upstream of the skew correction section with respect to the transport direction; and a controller. Upon the detection of the width size-changed portion, the controller stops the substrate skew correction while continuously transporting the substrate. After the width size-changed portion of the substrate reaches a reference position downstream of the skew correction section, the controller restarts the skew correction.

A machine for printing substrates and a method for printing substrates using the machine, which has a print head, the print head having at least one ejection nozzle for ejecting a product on the substrate; translation device with a movable part, the translation device configured for supporting and translating the substrate by the movable part; positioning device for establishing and fixing a relative position between the substrate and the print head. Lateral adjustment apparatus comprises a gripper to grip a print substrate, the gripper being mounted on a rotor rotatable about a lateral axis, and a lateral adjustment motor to drive movement of the gripper laterally along the rotor to adjust a lateral position of the print substrate. The lateral adjustment motor is mounted on the rotor.

An inkjet printing machine on slabs that includes a support for supporting a slab; a locking and centring group configured to contact the slab temporarily locking and centring it on the support; and a printing device provided with at least one inkjet printing head that is mobile with respect to the support along a sliding direction and spaced from it, wherein the printing head is configured to release a decoration on a surface of the slab resting on the support.
