The first side-guide is movable in the width direction. The image recording apparatus further includes a second side-guide located downstream of the pair of conveying rollers and upstream of the recoding unit in the conveying direction, the second side-guide being configured to come into contact with at least one of opposite ends of the sheet in the width direction and movable in the width direction.

A method for manufacturing a film structure includes: a positional deviation amount detection process of detecting an amount of positional deviation related to a relative position of a second cured film formed on a rear surface of a film with respect to a first cured film formed on a front surface of the film; a relative position adjustment process of correcting a position or a rotation speed of a second transfer roll to adjust the relative position such that the amount of positional deviation detected in the positional deviation amount detection process is reduced; a first tensile force detection process and a second tensile force detection process of respectively detecting a tensile force of the film between a first pressurizing roll and a second pressurizing roll before and after the relative position adjustment process; and a tensile force adjustment process of adjusting the tensile force of the film such that the tensile force of the film detected in the second tensile force detection process approaches the tensile force of the film detected in the first tensile force detection process.

MEDIA ROLL SUPPORTS

According to an example, a media roll support may comprise a sliding element movable along a guide, a hub to receive the media roll and a coupling plate. The hub may comprise an elastic element biased towards a first side of the media roll. The coupling plate may be attached to the hub and to the sliding element. Upon holding the media roll, a deformation of the elastic element may tilt the sliding element. The tilting of the sliding element may lock the sliding element movement, thereby preventing its movement.

MEDIA ROLL SUPPORTS

According to an example, a media roll support may comprise a sliding element movable along a guide, a hub to receive the media roll and a coupling plate. The hub may comprise an elastic element biased towards a first side of the media roll. The coupling plate may be attached to the hub and to the sliding element. Upon holding the media roll, a deformation of the elastic element may tilt the sliding element. The tilting of the sliding element may lock the sliding element movement, thereby preventing its movement.

Disclosed is a label printer having a driven carrier tape drawing roller; and a guide unit for the carrier tape, said guide unit being pivotably supported about a pivot axle between an operating position and an insertion position for the carrier tape, wherein the guide unit includes a counter-element to the printhead, configured to hold the carrier tape with the labels in contact with the printhead in the operating position; wherein, in the operating position, the carrier tape is led between the printhead and the counter-element and between the carrier tape drawing roller and the respective carrier tape pressure roller and can in particular be transported along a predefined carrier tape transport path; and wherein, in the insertion position of the guide unit, the counter-element is pivoted away from the printhead and the respective carrier tape pressure roller is pivoted away from the carrier tape drawing roller.

A tape printing device includes a platen shaft that engages with a platen roller; a thermal head that prints on a tape sandwiched with the platen roller engaged with the platen shaft; a head holder that has a rotating shaft and rotatably holds the thermal head about the rotating shaft; and a pressing member that is provided to be rotatable about the rotating shaft together with the thermal head and presses the thermal head against the platen roller, in which the pressing member has a convex portion that protrudes toward the thermal head and presses the thermal head against the platen roller.
