Thermal printer module and thermal printer
A thermal printer module includes: a housing; a cover; a platen roller provided to the cover; a support frame having a groove configured to receive a shaft of the platen roller; a lock arm configured to hold down, by a platen roller engagement portion, the shaft of the platen roller inserted into the groove; a biasing member configured to apply a biasing force to the lock arm; and a printing head. Wherein, when viewed in a direction extending along an axis of the shaft, the platen roller engagement portion and a tangential line of a track obtained when the axis of the shaft moves along with an opening operation of the cover form an intersection angleAB in a closing direction of the lock arm, and the intersection angle AB satisfies a relation of 90AB110. Wherein the platen roller engagement portion and a tangential line of a track obtained when a contact point between the shaft and the platen roller engagement portion pivots in an unlocking direction of the lock arm form an intersection angle BC in the closing direction of the lock arm, and the intersection angle BC satisfies a relation of 0BC10.

Inkjet printing apparatus
An inkjet printing apparatus includes a stacking unit, a print head having an ejection opening surface located vertically above the stacking unit, and a platen that supports a back side of a print medium at an angle greater than 40 and less than 50 with respect to a horizontal direction. A discharging unit is located vertically above the print head, and a print medium subjected to printing by the print head is discharged onto the discharging unit. A conveying unit conveys a print medium, subjected to printing by the print head, vertically upward toward the discharging unit. In addition, the ejection opening surface faces the platen in a case in which the inkjet printing apparatus is in a printing state, and faces downward with respect to a direction of gravity in a case in which the inkjet printing apparatus is in a standby state.

MARK MITIGATING DEVICE
A mark mitigating device for a printing device has a protector sheet to cover ribs of a printer platen of the printer device to prevent the ribs from causing marks on print media. The mark mitigating device further has a fixing system to fixate the mark mitigating device relative to the printer platen. The protector sheet has an opening to pass through vacuum applied by the printer platen to attract print media.

TRAY, ADAPTER, AND PRINTING APPARATUS
A tray for a printing apparatus including a conveying unit that conveys the tray holding a printing medium, and a printing unit that performs printing onto a print surface of the printing medium on the tray includes: a placement surface for placing thereon an adapter that holds the printing medium; a pressing member disposed on the upstream side of the adapter in the inserting direction of the tray with respect to the printing apparatus to press the adapter placed on the placement surface toward a downstream side of the inserting direction; a regulating portion configured to regulate a movement of the adapter by abutting the adapter pressed by the pressing member; and an opening into which a protrusion of the adapter is insertable.
TRAY AND PRINTING APPARATUS
A tray is used in a printing apparatus that includes a conveying unit configured to convey the tray holding a printing medium, and a printing unit configured to perform printing onto a print surface of the printing medium held by the tray. The tray includes a placement surface on which a printing medium is to be placed, a pressing member that presses the printing medium placed on the placement surface towards a downstream side of an inserting direction of the tray with respect to the printing apparatus, and a regulating portion configured to regulate a movement of the printing medium by abutting the printing medium pressed by the pressing member.
