DUAL NIP RELEASE MECHANISM
A dual nip release mechanism includes: a rigid actuator body including a tail portion with a handle and a pivotally-mounted head portion having a nose member extending therefrom; a rocker arm pivotally mounted about a rocker arm shaft, the rocker arm having a proximal end for engagement with part of the nose member and a distal end engaged with a first shaft; and legs hingedly connected to the tail portion, each leg having a foot engaged with a second shaft and a heel for camming engagement with a fixed plate. During use, actuation of the handle causes simultaneous movement of the first and second shafts from a nip closed position to a nip open position via pivoting of the rocker arm and simultaneous camming engagement of the heel with the fixed plate.

Inkjet printing apparatus with pairs of conveyance rollers
A second inkjet head, a second platen, and a second pair of conveyance rollers configured to convey a sheet toward the second platen downward with respect to a horizontal direction are arranged at lower positions than a first inkjet head arranged upstream of the second inkjet head, a first platen arranged upstream of the second platen, a first pair of conveyance rollers arranged upstream of the second pair of conveyance rollers and configured to convey the sheet toward the first plates downward with respect to the horizontal direction, respectively.

CONVEYOR DEVICE AND IMAGE RECORDING APPARATUS
A conveyor device, including: a first roller; a second roller disposed under the first roller and configured to be movable between a nip position at which the second roller cooperates with the first roller to nip a sheet therebetween so as to discharge the sheet in a discharge direction and a separated position located at a height level lower than the nip position; a cover configured to be movable between a first position and a second position located at a height level lower than the first position, the cover including a downstream wall which at least partially covers a downstream portion of the second roller located at the nip position when the cover is located at the first position; and a moving mechanism configured to move the second roller between the nip position and the separated position and to move the cover between the first position and the second position.
Printer
A printer including thermal head, a platen including a shaft, a pair of bushing, a bracket, a pair of frames, and a pair of supports. The bushings are positioned proximate opposing ends of the shaft. The bracket is configured to support the thermal head. The bracket defines a groove at opposing ends thereof. The frames are positioned proximate the opposing ends of the bracket. Each of the frames defines an aperture that cooperates with the groove to define a passage through which a portion of the shaft extends. Each of the supports is positioned to engage with the aperture of a respective one of the frames. The supports are rotatable within the apertures about an axis of rotation. The supports are positioned to support the opposing ends of the shaft such that the shaft is eccentric from the axis of rotation.

PRINTING APPARATUS
A printing apparatus includes a first support and a second support to support a printing object. The first support has a first flat surface to support the printing object, and includes a plurality of positioning portions at a plurality of positions of the first flat surface. The second support has a second flat surface to support the printing object, and includes a positioned portion to be positioned on any one of the plurality of positioning portions of the first support, with the second flat surface being higher than the first flat surface.

TRANSFER APPARATUS
A transfer apparatus picks up and transfers plurality of parts, placed on one same plane as a result of a sheet being cut in a cutting step, to a next step. The transfer apparatus includes a plurality of pickup arms each including an extendable arm portion and an adsorption hand adsorbing each of the plurality of parts at a tip of the arm portion. The plurality of pickup arms are movable between the cutting step and the next step. The transfer apparatus further includes controller driving and controlling the plurality of pickup arms. The controller causes relative positions, as seen in a plan view, of the adsorption hands to be changed based on graphics data used in the cutting step, and causes each of the plurality of parts to be adsorbed and picked up by at least one of the adsorption hands.
