The upper sheet-supply tray includes a main body, a leading-end stopper, a trailing-end stopper and a side-end stopper. The main body includes a support surface that supports a recording sheet. The leading-end stopper is fixed on the main body and stops a leading end of the recording sheet. The trailing-end stopper includes a trailing-end contact surface having a trailing-end protrusion extending over an upper surface of a trailing-end portion of the recording sheet toward the leading-end stopper. The trailing-end contact surface contacts a trailing end of the recording sheet. The side-end stopper includes a side-end contact surface that contacts a side end of the recording sheet. The side-end contact surface has at least one side-end protrusion extending over an upper surface of a side-end portion of the recording sheet.
PRINTING APPARATUS
A printing apparatus includes a first feeding part configured to feed print media from a first support part supporting the print media, a second feeding part configured to feed print media from a second support part supporting the print media, and a print head configured to print the print media fed by the first feeding part or the second feeding part. Further, the printing apparatus includes a first conveying path where the print media fed by the first feeding part are conveyed to the print head, and a second conveying path where the print media fed by the second feeding part are conveyed to the print head. At least a part of the second feeding part protrudes in a predetermined spatial area within the first conveying path during a feed operation of feeding print media from the second support part.
FOOD SERVICE CUP DISPENSERS, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS
Systems for providing on-demand cup printing and dispensing for food service are provided herein. A cup dispenser includes a cup source configured to hold a stack of cups and one or more cup-moving elements configured to cause a cup from the stack of cups to move through the cup dispenser. The cup dispenser includes a motor configured to operate the one or more cup-moving elements to cause the cup to move through the cup dispenser along a path. The cup dispenser also includes a printer configured to print at least one of order information or personalization information on the cup that is based on the food service order associated with the cup. The cup dispenser further includes a dispensing slot that provides the cup, which includes the at least one of order information or personalization information printed thereon.
PERSONALIZED FOOD SERVICE MATERIAL PRINTING SYSTEMS
Systems for providing on-demand food service material printing for food service are provided herein. Once a customer places a request for food service, the system can determine the order information about the customer's order and personalization information about the customer or store. Such information may be printed on a food service material item by a printer/dispenser in the store. The printed food service material item can then be used in preparation of the food order and provided to the customerproviding a more personalized customer experience. Such a system may be used to provide on-demand printing for any food service material item including, for example, food wrap, food containers, cups, carry-out bags, tray liners, pouches, napkins, among many others. Such systems may provide many advantages, including for example personalization of food service material and/or real-time promotion availability for stores. Example food service material dispensers are also provided herein.
FOOD SERVICE MATERIAL DISPENSERS, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS
Systems for providing on-demand food service material printing for food service are provided herein. A food service material dispenser comprises a roll holder configured to hold a roll of food service material, one or more rollers, and a motor configured to operate to translate the food service material along a path within the dispenser. The dispenser includes a cutting arrangement configured to perform a cut of the food service material to form the sheet of food service material that defines a size associated with a food service order. The dispenser also includes a printer configured to print at least one of order information or personalization information on the food service material that is based on the associated food service order. The dispenser further includes a chute configured to dispense the sheet of food service material, which includes the at least one of order information or personalization information printed thereon.
Sheet feed device and image recording apparatus having such sheet feed device
An image recording apparatus including a first tray having a first holding portion for holding sheets, a second tray disposed above the first tray and including a second holding portion for holding sheets, a sheet feeder that selectively feeds a sheet from one of the first tray and the second tray in a sheet feed direction, a recording unit that records an image on the sheet fed by the sheet feeder, and a discharge roller that discharges the sheet on which the image is recorded by the recording unit. The second holding portion of the second tray moves above the first holding portion of the first tray. The second tray further includes a discharged sheet receiving portion for receiving the sheet discharged by the discharge roller. The second tray including the discharged sheet receiving portion pivots relative to the first tray.
DISPLAY DEVICE
A display device includes a first substrate; a plurality of gate lines arranged in a row direction on the first substrate; a plurality of data lines arranged in a column direction intersecting the row direction; and a plurality of pixels formed in a plurality of pixel areas defined by the gate and data lines, the plurality of pixels comprising at least a first pixel and a second pixel respectively disposed in a first pixel area and a second pixel area that are immediately adjacent to each other. Each of the first and second pixels comprises a thin film transistor electrically connected to the gate and data lines, and a pixel electrode electrically connected to the thin film transistor. The data lines are disposed-apart by different distances from each other in the column direction. Each of the first and second pixel areas comprises a first edge portion adjacent to one of the gate lines and a second edge portion adjacent to another of the gate lines, a length of the first edge portion being greater than a length of the second edge portion. PAPER MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, PAPER MANAGEMENT METHOD, AND PRINT CONTROL APPARATUS
A paper management system setting a paper information piece of paper stored in a sheet feeding unit in an image forming apparatus from a list of paper information pieces registers the paper information pieces with a favorite group, displays a list of the paper information pieces for each favorite group, and enables the list of the paper information pieces to be associated with a paper feed unit through the screen displaying the list.
Image Forming System Including Plurality of Sheet Feeders and Method Therefor Having Switching Control Features
An image forming system has a transmission assembly, standard and auxiliary sheet feeders, standard and auxiliary trays, an image forming device and a controller. The transmission assembly is for switching transmission of a drive force of a motor selectively to the one of the standard and auxiliary sheet feeders. The controller determines whether sheet is absent in the standard tray. The controller, based on determining the sheet is absent in the standard tray and receipt of preceding data, control the transmission assembly to initiate to switch the transmission of the drive force to the auxiliary sheet feeder. Also the controller, based on receipt of control data received after preceding data, control the image forming device to form an image based on the control data.
