IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM
An image forming system includes: an image forming apparatus that forms a first image according to a job on a plurality of first sheets and inserts a second sheet between the plurality of first sheets; a cutting processor that sequentially performs cutting processing on the plurality of first sheets and the second sheet that are conveyed from the image forming apparatus; and a sheet discharging tray on which an output object obtained by the cutting processing on each of the plurality of first sheets and a slip sheet obtained by the cutting processing on the second sheet are stacked, wherein the cutting processor performs the cutting processing on each of the plurality of first sheets in accordance with a first cutting condition, and performs the cutting processing on the second sheet in accordance with a second cutting condition different from the first cutting condition.
Printing apparatus, printing method, and storage medium
A printing apparatus includes: a print head configured to eject ink based on print data; a conveyance unit configured to convey printing medium in a conveyance direction; a receiving portion configured to receive ink ejected beyond a first end of the printing medium in an intersecting direction, which intersects the conveyance direction; and a slitter configured to cut the printing medium in the conveyance direction at a predetermined position, wherein printing on one side of the printing medium in the intersecting direction is performed from the first end through the receiving portion, and wherein printing on the other side of the printing medium in the intersecting direction is performed beyond the predetermined position toward a second end side, which is on an opposite side of the first end.
INKJET PRINTING DEVICE, BOX-MAKING MACHINE, AND CORRUGATING MACHINE
This inkjet printing device comprises a conveyance path by which a sheet to be assembled as a corrugated cardboard box having a plurality of walls is conveyed in a conveyance direction, and inkjet heads that are positioned facing the surface of the sheet in the conveyance path and that can print a printed pattern in predetermined print ranges of an intersecting direction that intersects the conveyance direction along the surface of the sheet. The inkjet heads are positioned so that the print ranges span between first regions, which are intended to be first walls when the sheet is assembled into a corrugated cardboard box, and second regions, which are adjacent to the first regions in the intersecting direction and are intended to be second walls separate from the first walls.

ADJUSTABLE SLITTERS FOR ACCURATE TRANSPORT-WISE CUTTING OF PRINTED MEDIA
Disclosed are various embodiments of systems and methods that facilitate printer calibration. According to certain embodiments, calibration methods comprise a printer printing a calibration target and cutting a calibration target using an inline slitter. The printer then determines a calibration offset based on the position of the cut on the calibration target. The printer can then be calibrated according to gross amounts on the slitter and fine amounts at an ink applicator.
