Printing apparatus, printing method, and printing management apparatus
A printing apparatus includes a print head, a processor, and a drying mechanism. The print head ejects ink onto a printing medium located in a printing region to form an image. The processor is configured to control a duty that is an amount of ink ejected by the print head onto the printing medium per unit area. The drying mechanism includes a transport unit that transports the printing medium in a first direction and a heater that heats the printing medium. The drying mechanism is configured to dry the printing medium having the image formed thereon by the print head, by transporting, using the transport unit, the printing medium to a drying region in which the printing medium is dried by the heater. The processor controls drying of the printing medium performed by the drying mechanism in accordance with the duty.
Conveyor apparatus
A conveyor apparatus, including: a tray; a feeder; a conveyance path; a conveyor; an upstream sensor; a downstream sensor; and a controller, wherein when it is determined that one certain recording medium has not yet reached a downstream detecting position of the downstream sensor at a time point when a first predetermined time elapses and the trailing edge of the recording medium has passed an upstream detecting position of the upstream sensor, the controller determines that a conveyance error is due to one of: a jam of the recording medium occurred in the conveyance path; and a slippage caused between the conveyor and the recording medium, if a medium length is less than a spacing distance between the upstream and downstream detecting positions while the controller determines that the conveyance error is due to the slippage if the medium length is equal to or larger than the spacing distance.
PRINTING APPARATUS
A printing apparatus includes a printing cylinder (14) that can hold sheets (4) and transfer them one by one continuously, first to fourth inkjet heads (41-44), and a feeder unit (2). The printing apparatus includes a speed reducer (72) that switches the speed of the feeder unit (2) between single-sided printing and double-sided printing. In single-sided printing, the feeder unit (2) is driven at a first supply speed at which the sheets (4) are supplied to the printing cylinder (14) one by one continuously, and the printing cylinder (14) is driven at a transfer speed at which the sheets (4) supplied from the feeder unit (2) one by one continuously are transferred. In double-sided printing, the printing cylinder (14) is driven at the transfer speed, and the feeder unit (2) is driven at a second supply speed that is the first supply speed. The printing apparatus that operates stably in both single-sided printing and double-sided printing can be provided.
PRINTING APPARATUS AND CONVEYANCE CONTROL METHOD
A printing apparatus includes a feeding roller, a conveyance roller, a first driving unit configured to drive the conveyance roller, a second driving unit configured to drive the feeding roller, a control unit configured to control the first and second driving unit, a detection unit configured to detect an error related to the second driving unit, and a determination unit configured to determine, when the detection unit has detected the error related to the second driving unit, whether to continue the conveyance of a first print medium, based on a leading edge position of a second print medium. In a case in which an error is detected by the detection unit, the control unit controls the conveyance of the first print medium by the conveyance roller based on a determination result of the determination unit.
PRINTING APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD
In a printing apparatus, a control unit stops paper feeding driven by a first driving unit for driving a paper feeding roller in response to a timing at which a printing medium reaches a conveying roller, if the printing medium has a first size, and stops paper feeding driven by the first driving unit before a detection unit located upstream of the conveying roller detects the printing medium if the printing medium has a second size smaller than the first size.
IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM
An image forming system includes a first feeding portion configured to feed a recording sheet, a second feeding portion configured to feed an inserting sheet from one of a plurality of supporting portions, and a controller capable of executing a job. In a case of performing a feeding process on a current recording sheet subsequent to a preceding inserting sheet, the controller is configured to start the feeding process of the current recording sheet at a predetermined timing in a state in which sheets of a first amount are supported on the first supporting portion, and start the feeding process of the current recording sheet at a timing later than the predetermined timing in a state in which sheets of a second amount smaller than the first amount are supported on the first supporting portion.
Recording apparatus and recording method
There is provided a recording apparatus that start conveying a subsequent sheet in a state where an overlap amount of a preceding sheet and the subsequent sheet is not determined, acquires the overlap amount after the sheet conveyance is started, acquires distance information about a distance between a trailing edge of an image of a last line on the preceding sheet and a leading edge of an image on the subsequent sheet based on recording data and the overlap amount, and generates recording data for image forming of recording data of the last line on the preceding sheet and recording data of a first line on the subsequent sheet in the same scan by a recording unit, based on the acquired distance information.
Image Recording Apparatus
A controller determines whether, in a case where feeding of a subsequent sheet is performed in a first feed condition, a subsequent sheet contacts conveyance rollers during recording on a preceding sheet, the first feed condition being that feeding of the subsequent sheet is started at a first timing before recording on the preceding sheet ends and that the subsequent sheet is fed at a first velocity, and in response to determining that the subsequent sheet contacts the conveyance rollers during recording on the preceding sheet, controls the feed roller to perform feeding of the subsequent sheet in a second feed condition or a third feed condition, the second feed condition being that the feeding of the subsequent sheet is started at a second timing later than the first timing, the third feed condition being that the subsequent sheet is fed at a second velocity lower than the first velocity.
Recording apparatus
A recording apparatus includes a placement portion on which a medium is placed, a feeding portion that feeds the medium that is placed on the placement portion, a recording portion that has a liquid discharge portion that discharges liquid onto the medium that is fed by the feeding portion, a processing portion that executes pre-processing of the liquid discharge portion, and a control portion that performs control of the feeding portion and the processing portion or control of the feeding portion and the recording portion such that feeding of the medium and pre-processing are performed in parallel in a case where a recording start command is received in a state in which the processing portion faces the liquid discharge portion.
Paper sheet recycling and printing apparatus, printing apparatus, and paper sheet recycling apparatus
There is provided a paper sheet recycling and printing apparatus including: a paper sheet recycling section which manufactures a recycled paper sheet under a first condition and a second condition different from the first condition; a first recycled paper sheet storage section in which the recycled paper sheet manufactured under the first condition is stored; a second recycled paper sheet storage section in which the recycled paper sheet manufactured under the second condition is stored; and a printing section to which the recycled paper sheet manufactured under the first condition is supplied from the first recycled paper sheet storage section and which prints recording information on a recording target medium including the recycled paper sheet.
