Image recording apparatus
There is provided an image recording apparatus, including: a feed roller; a conveyer; a recording head; a carriage; a motor; a transmission mechanism; a lock detector; and a controller. The controller is configured to: record image on recording medium by alternately repeating a line feed process and a recording process; start feeding of second recording medium, before the recoding of the image to first recoding medium is completed, by rotating the motor to drive the feed roller; continue, in a case that the motor lock state is detected before the recording of the image to first recording medium is completed, a control for rotating the motor, until a process for recoding the image to first recording medium being executed when the motor lock state is detected, is completed; and stop a driving of the motor after the process for recoding the image to first recording medium is completed.
Liquid ejection apparatus, winding control method, and computer readable recording medium
A liquid ejection apparatus includes a conveying unit, a winding unit, a printing unit, and a rotation control unit. The conveying unit is configured to intermittently convey a printing medium by a predetermined feed amount. The winding unit is configured to wind the printing medium conveyed by the conveying unit. The printing unit is configured to perform printing on the conveyed printing medium. The rotation control unit is configured to control the winding unit to rotate in a winding direction at a predetermined timing after the conveying unit has started to convey the printing medium intermittently, and then cause the winding unit to rotate in a reverse direction opposite to the winding direction.
Printing apparatus and control method therefor
A printing apparatus includes a conveyance unit for conveying a print medium fed from a feeding apparatus, a detection unit for detecting the fed print medium, a printhead, provided downstream of the detection unit with respect to a conveyance direction of the print medium, for printing an image by discharging ink to the conveyed print medium, and a heating unit, provided downstream of the printhead with respect to the conveyance direction, for heating the print medium on which the image is printed. The printing apparatus exclusively controls to stop driving of the heating unit if it is determined, based on a timing of detecting the print medium, that the print medium is at a print position, and to drive the heating unit if it is determined that the print medium is not at the print position.
Printing apparatus and printing method
For a printing apparatus, a first conveyance speed for a first printing medium is determined according to first print data to be printed on the first printing medium and a second conveyance speed for a second printing medium is determined according to second print data to be printed on the second printing medium that follows the first printing medium along a conveying path. In a case where the second conveyance speed is equal to the first conveyance speed, a conveyance operation of the second printing medium is started before the first printing medium is discharged from the conveying path. In a case where the second conveyance speed is different from the first conveyance speed, the conveyance operation of the second printing medium is started after the first printing medium is discharged from the conveying path.
Ink jet recording apparatus
An ink jet recording apparatus is provided with a conveying unit, a drive roller controller and a discharge timing controller. The drive roller controller controls a rotation speed of a drive roller based on pulse signals output by an encoder and corresponding to an angular velocity of a driven roller and an actual outer diameter of the driven roller. The discharge timing controller controls an ink discharge timing based on signals obtained by attenuating multiple frequency components of a target frequency corresponding to a pulse number of the pulse signals output from the encoder during one turn of the driven roller in the pulse signals and an actual outer diameter of the driven roller.
Control device, printing apparatus, and non-transitory computer-readable recording medium
A control device is configured to cause a print execution unit to print an image by repetitively executing: partial printing of causing a print head to eject ink while causing a main scanning unit to perform the main scanning; and conveying processing of causing a conveyor to perform a conveyance, and the control device is configured to execute: selection processing of selecting one of first processing and second processing for printing an N.sup.th band area when the N.sup.th band area includes a blank pixel line extending in a second direction; and execution processing of executing the one of the first processing and the second processing, and in the selection processing, the control device is configured to: select the second processing when a total count condition is satisfied; and select the first processing when the total count condition is not satisfied.
Printing apparatus and method of controlling the same
A printing apparatus comprises a first roller for conveying sheets, a first motor for driving the first roller, a second roller for conveying sheets, a second motor for driving the second roller, and a conveyance controller that controls conveyance to be able to execute a first conveyance operation for conveying sheets such that the trailing edge of a preceding sheet and the leading edge of a succeeding sheet overlap, and a second conveyance operation for conveying sheets by arranging a distance between the trailing edge of the preceding sheet and the leading edge of the succeeding sheet. The conveyance controller, based on information indicating whether the second motor is in a temperature rising state, controls whether to execute the first conveyance operation or to execute the second conveyance operation.
Inkjet printing machine for printing individual sheets
An inkjet printing machine for printing individual sheets comprises at least one printing station and a transport system (100) for transporting the individual sheets through the printing station, along a transport direction. The transport system (100) comprises at least one gripper conveyor (150) movable along the transport direction, for gripping one of the individual sheets defining a sheet position in transport direction. The transport system (100) further comprises at least one support conveyor (190) movable along the transport direction for supporting a region of the individual sheet, wherein the supported individual sheet and the support conveyor (190) are movable along the transport direction with respect to each other. The printing machine allows for efficient and flexible handling of individual sheets, in particular large format sheets of materials such as corrugated cardboard or other materials that have a certain degree of inherent stability.
Image recording apparatus
An image recording apparatus is configured to perform a conveying process of a recording medium using a conveying roller and a discharging roller, a recoding process of recording an image on the printing sheet when the conveying process is not performed, and an adjusting process. In the adjusting process, among a plurality of conveying processes performed within a period from the start of the conveying process for an n-th printing sheet until the timing which is after the start of the conveying process for an (n+1)-th printing sheet, the conveying amount of the printing sheet subject to at least one conveying process is adjusted such that a timing when the trailing end of the n-th printing sheet passes through the discharging roller is within one of the acceleration period and the deceleration period of the conveying process for the printing sheet.
