A printing apparatus for printing on a front surface of a printing medium, and thereafter printing on a back surface of the printing medium. The apparatus includes the following elements: a front surface print head for printing a cue mark, and printing a front surface image based on front surface image data with reference to the cue mark; a back surface image data corrector for creating corrected back surface image data based on elasticity information in a transport direction after printing of the front surface image; a detector for detecting the cue mark; and a back surface print head for printing the corrected back surface image data on the back surface of the printing medium with reference to the cue mark detected by the detector.

An integrated cartridge is provided, which includes a printing medium receiving groove in which a printing medium is loaded; a feeding mounting hole and a take-up bobbin mounting hole are formed; a feeding bobbin mounted in the feeding bobbin mounting hole; a take-up bobbin mounted in the take-up bobbin mounting hole; and a first opening disposed between the feeding bobbin and the take-up bobbin configured to draw out the printing medium.

An object is to reduce deterioration of image quality at a leading edge portion and a trailing edge portion of a high-stiffness print medium. To achieve that, in a case of printing an image onto a leading edge portion of the print medium in its conveyance direction, the image is printed using printing elements included in a region in a printing element region that is close to a first conveyance member on the upstream side. Also, in a case of printing an image onto a trailing edge portion of the print medium in the conveyance direction, the image is printed using printing elements included in a region in the printing element region that is close to a second conveyance member on the downstream side.

An image recording apparatus for recording an image on a sheet includes a recording section which records the image on the sheet in a transport passage for transporting the sheet in a transport direction and multiple plates which are spaced apart from each other in a widthwise direction. These multiple plates include a first type of plate and a second type of plate. Plates of a first type of plate are configured to overlap a sheet when viewed in a direction perpendicular to the transport direction and the widthwise direction, while plates of the second type of plate do not.

An image recording apparatus for recording an image on a sheet includes a recording section which records the image on the sheet in a transport passage for transporting the sheet in a transport direction and multiple plates which are spaced apart from each other in a widthwise direction. These multiple plates include a first type of plate and a second type of plate. Plates of a first type of plate are configured to overlap a sheet when viewed in a direction perpendicular to the transport direction and the widthwise direction, while plates of the second type of plate do not.

An image forming apparatus is provided. The image forming apparatus includes a printing engine, a paddle device, a stapler device, and a processor. The printing engine is to form an image on a printing paper. The paddle device is to move the printing paper ejected from the printing engine in a moving direction to align a first end of the printing paper. The stapler device is to staple the align printing paper. The processor is to control the paddle device and the stapler device to move a second end of the aligned printing paper in an opposite direction to the moving direction when the first end of the printing paper is aligned.

An image forming apparatus is provided. The image forming apparatus includes a printing engine, a paddle device, a stapler device, and a processor. The printing engine is to form an image on a printing paper. The paddle device is to move the printing paper ejected from the printing engine in a moving direction to align a first end of the printing paper. The stapler device is to staple the align printing paper. The processor is to control the paddle device and the stapler device to move a second end of the aligned printing paper in an opposite direction to the moving direction when the first end of the printing paper is aligned.
