Printer

A printer can suppress paper lifting away from the platen surface even when conveying strong paper (regardless of paper strength) (a printer that can suppress paper uplift from the platen and is not easily affected by the type of paper). A printer 40 in which the platen surface 42a is on the inkjet head 21 side of a plane C through position A where paper 11 is held by a conveyance roller 36, and position B where the paper is held by a discharge roller, has: on the printhead 21 side of the plane C between the platen 42 and conveyance roller 36, at least one entry angle control unit 44 that contacts the paper 11 conveyed toward the platen surface 42a, and controls the entry angle of the paper 11 to the platen surface 42a; and on the printhead 21 side of the plane C between the platen 42 and the discharge roller 37, at least one exit angle control unit 46 that contacts the paper 11 conveyed in the direction away from the platen surface 42a, and controls the exit angle of the paper 11 from the platen surface 42a.

PRINTING DEVICE INCLUDING HOLDER SUPPORTING PLATEN ROLLER THROUGH BEARINGS

A printing device includes a platen roller, a pair of bearings, and a holder including a pair of fitting portions to which the bearings are fitted. The bearings rotatably support a rotational shaft of the platen roller. Each bearing includes a small-diameter portion, a large-diameter portion coaxially connected to the small-diameter portion, and a protrusion provided at an outer circumferential surface of the small-diameter portion. The larger-diameter portion has a peripheral surface and an end face connecting the peripheral surface to the outer circumferential surface. Each fitting portion includes: a receiving portion configured to receive the small-diameter portion; an opening to which the protrusion is fitted; and a receiving surface configured to contact the end face of the large-diameter portion from outward in an axial direction of the rotational shaft. At least one of the end face and the receiving surface includes a recessed portion.

IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
20180052416 · 2018-02-22 · ·

An image forming apparatus performs skew correction by bringing a leading end of a conveyed sheet in contact with a registration roller pair being in a stopped state and by forming a first loop with a loop roller pair, and thereafter, refeeds the sheet to an image former by adjusting timing. In a case of feeding a sheet with a length equal to or longer than a prescribed length, after having formed the first loop, the image forming apparatus forms a second loop in a loop accommodator that is disposed on an upstream side than the loop roller pair and accommodates a formed loop.

PRINTER

A printer includes a conveyance unit, a print head, and a braking member. The conveyance unit includes first and second rollers arranged in a state of being in pressure contact with each other with a conveyance path for conveying a long printing medium interposed therebetween, and applies a conveyance force to the printing medium by rotating the first and second rollers. The print head is disposed upstream of a position where the conveyance unit applies the conveyance force in a forward direction along the conveyance path, and performs printing on the printing medium conveyed in the forward direction through the conveyance path. The braking member is disposed in contact with the second roller, is moved, by a frictional force generated by rotation of the second roller in the forward direction, to a first position where a first braking force is applied to the printing medium, and is moved, by a frictional force generated by reverse rotation of the second roller, to a second position where a second braking force larger than the first braking force is applied to the printing medium.

Ink-jet recording apparatus

An ink-jet recording apparatus includes: a conveyance unit; a support part including ribs; a recording head; a carriage carrying the recording head; a detecting unit configured to detect a position of the sheet conveyed; and a controller. In a case that the sheet supported by the support part is in a position in which the sheet is nipped by the conveyance unit, the controller is configured to shift nozzles, from which ink droplets are jetted to a center area of an upper surface of the support part in the width direction, to an upstream or a downstream in the conveyance direction by a predetermined number relative to nozzles from which ink droplets are jetted to outer areas positioned outside the center area in the width direction.
