Dryer for drying images on coated substrates in aqueous ink printers
An aqueous ink printer includes two drying stages that enable coated substrates to be printed with aqueous ink images. The first drying stage dries substrates uniformly in the cross-process direction and the second drying stage dries substrates non-uniformly in the cross-process direction to enable only predetermined portions of the printed substrates to be dried. The predetermined portions of the printed substrates are aligned in a process direction with nip rollers or other printer components that engage the substrates after the substrates exit the second drying stage.
Roller structure
A roller structure is disclosed and includes at least one roller unit. The roller unit includes a base, an elastic portion, a supporting portion and a rotating wheel. The base is configured to detachably assemble the roller unit on an accommodation seat. The base includes a first lateral edge. The elastic portion is disposed on the base and connected with the first lateral edge. The elastic portion includes a bent section having an end extending and bent from the first lateral edge. The supporting portion is disposed on the elastic portion and connected to the other end of the bent section. The rotating wheel is pivotally connected to the supporting portion. When the rotating wheel is pressed by a driving wheel, the supporting portion is driven to compress the elastic portion to move the rotating wheel toward the base, and the rotating wheel is driven to rotate relative to the supporting portion.

SHEET CONVEYING DEVICE AND INKJET RECORDING APPARATUS
A sheet conveying device includes a conveying roller configured to convey a sheet and a plurality of driven rotating units. The conveying roller includes a plurality of roller portions disposed at positions opposite to the driven rotating units. Each of the roller portions has three or more annular grooves arranged side by side. Each of the driven rotating units includes three or more driven rotating bodies that are disposed at positions opposite to the annular grooves, respectively. A plurality of convex portions and a plurality of concave portions are alternately provided on an outer edge of each of the driven rotating bodies. The driven rotating bodies include two first rotating bodies positioned at both ends and one or more second rotating bodies located between the first rotating bodies and having an outer diameter smaller than the outer diameter of the first rotating bodies.

INNER PLENUM VACUUM ROLLER SYSTEM FOR A CUT SHEET PRINTER DRYER TRANSPORT
A vacuum roller system and a method of operating the vacuum roller system can include a group of vacuum rollers operable to move a sheet of media through a dryer. The vacuum rollers do not require a vacuum to be drawn between the vacuum rollers. Each vacuum roller can include a plenum operable to direct the vacuum to a top portion of the vacuum roller to drive the sheet of media from one roller to the next roller. The plenum can engage vacuum holes in a rotating vacuum roller when the vacuum holes in the vacuum roller are aligned with the plenum.
Output tension zones
In one example, an output tension zone can include a first tension roller assembly to receive partially dried inkjet media at an output of a heated pressure roller, wherein the first tension roller assembly includes a first continuous roller to receive a first side of the partially dried inkjet media and a second continuous roller to receive a second side of the partially dried inkjet media and a second tension roller assembly to receive the partially dried inkjet media from the first tension roller assembly, wherein the second tension roller assembly includes a third continuous roller to receive the first side of the partially dried inkjet media and a fourth continuous roller to receive the second side of the partially dried inkjet media.
Device for a roller body of a rotation roller and method for manufacturing the device, printing roller adapter and printing roller
The invention concerns a device for a roller body of a rotation roller with an outer hollow body that has a cylindrical shape and is built with an internal cavity, an inner body that has a cylindrical shape and is arranged in an assembly with the outer hollow body in the internal cavity of the outer hollow body, and a centring device that is used during installation of the assembly to centrally position the inner body in the internal cavity; a relevant material bridge in the opposing end sections of the assembly, whereby the relevant material bridge is formed by a filler, which is applied and cured in a space at the end section of the assembly between an inner surface of the outer hollow body and an outer surface of the inner body, which is in contact with the inner surface of the outer hollow body and the outer surface of the inner body and is fully formed between this area and forms a dimensionally stable connection between the outer hollow body and the inner body in the assembly. Furthermore, a printing roller adapter, a printing roller and a process for the production of a device for a roller body of a rotation roller are also envisaged.
CONVEYING DEVICE, LIQUID APPLYING APPARATUS, IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, AND POST-PROCESSING APPARATUS
A conveying device includes a pair of rotary bodies and a movable member. The pair or rotary bodies includes a first rotary body disposed in a first region, and a second rotary body disposed in a second region and facing the first rotary body across a sheet conveyance passage through which a sheet applied with liquid is conveyed. The movable member is disposed upstream from the first rotary body in a sheet conveyance direction.
