Medium conveying device and image recording apparatus
There are provided a medium conveying device and an image recording apparatus that can convey a medium without the generation of wrinkles and floating. Projections having the same size are regularly disposed on the peripheral surface of an image recording drum to form recessed portions and protruding portions on the peripheral surface of the image recording drum. An interval between the projections disposed in a middle region is set to be smaller than an interval between the projections disposed in both end regions. Accordingly, when a sheet is pressed against the peripheral surface of the image recording drum by a pressing roller, forces for pulling the sheet to the outside from the middle in a width direction can be generated. As a result, the sheet can be made to come into close contact with the peripheral surface of the image recording drum without the generation of wrinkles and floating.
Liquid discharge apparatus and method of conveying medium
A liquid discharge apparatus includes: a liquid discharge head; a conveyer that supports and conveys a medium; a blower that is disposed on the upstream side of the liquid discharge head or the downstream side of the liquid discharge head and suppresses the change of the posture of the medium by sending the air to the medium; a temperature adjuster that is disposed on the side of the blower opposite to the liquid discharge head in the medium conveying direction and adjusts the temperature of an object to a temperature higher than the ambient temperature of the liquid discharge head or a temperature lower than the ambient temperature of the liquid discharge head; and a blast controller sends an operation stop command or an air reduction command to the blower at a blast region-pass timing at which the medium passes through a blast region of the blower.
Paper conveying apparatus and method
A paper conveying apparatus includes: a driving device which rotates a driving rotating body by driving force; a conveying device which conveys a paper along a conveyance path according to rotation of a driven rotating body; an endless drive transmission belt which is stretched to the driving rotating body and the driven rotating body; a conveyance amount detecting device which detects a conveyance amount of the paper; an abnormality detecting device which detects abnormality of the paper; a stopping device which stops the driving device when the abnormality is detected; a calculating device which calculates the conveyance amount in time before conveyance stops after the abnormality is detected; a degradation detecting device which compares the calculated conveyance amount and a threshold and determines that the drive transmission belt is degraded if the calculated conveyance amount is larger than the threshold; and a reporting device which reports a determination result.
Sheet-like member holding device of printing press
A sheet-like member holding device includes a first holding unit disposed between a gripper receiving portion and a side wall of a gap, and configured to hold a base of a non-metal sheet. The first holding unit includes a space in which the base is inserted while the non-metal sheet extends inward in a radial direction from an outer surface side of a printing cylinder, and an abutment wall configured to restrict movement of the base to the outside in the radial direction. An end portion of the space in an axial direction of the printing cylinder is open to the outside. This makes it possible to attach and detach the non-metal sheet by a simple method without moving a gripper member or gripper pad.
Digital printing apparatus
A digital printing apparatus including a sheet supply device, printing cylinder, inkjet nozzle portion, sheet delivery device, and conveyance devices. The sheet supply device supplies sheets one by one at a predetermined period. The printing cylinder includes at least one gripper device that grips and holds the sheet, and conveys the sheet while one edge of the sheet supplied from the sheet supply device is held by the plurality of gripper devices. The inkjet nozzle portion discharges ink droplets onto the sheet. The conveyance devices include a plurality of gripper devices including one reversing gripper device that grips and holds the other edge of the sheet, and conveys the sheet printed on one surface, which is received from the printing cylinder in a double-sided printing mode. The sheet is turned by reversing the obverse/reverse surface of the sheet by the reversing gripper device in the process of conveyance.
Image forming apparatus
An image forming apparatus includes a holding body that holds a formed image; a transport unit that transports a recording medium in a state where a tip of the recording medium is grasped by a grasping portion; a transfer cylinder that has a substantially circular cross section, and that includes a concave portion that accommodates the grasping portion in a direction substantially orthogonal to a rotation direction and transfers an image on the holding body to the recording medium transported by the transport unit by interposing the recording medium transported by the transport unit between the transfer cylinder and the holding body; and an imparting portion that imparts a transport load to the recording medium that is transported to a transfer position at which the image on the holding body is transferred to the recording medium.

Printing apparatus with winding rotating drum
A printing apparatus includes a rotating drum which rotates by winding the printing base material around a circumferential side surface, and through which the printing base material is transported in the transporting direction; a recording portion which forms a printed image with respect to the printing base material on the rotating drum; and a driven roller which is positioned to be closer to a downstream side than the recording portion in the transporting direction, and rotates together with the rotating drum. The driven roller is disposed at a position for regulating a terminal position of the transporting direction in which the printing base material is wound in the rotating drum. The driven roller comes into contact with the printing base material at positions on both sides in a direction which intersects with the transporting direction of a region where the recording portion forms the printed image.
INK JET RECORDING APPARATUS AND INK JET RECORDING METHOD
The ink jet recording apparatus includes: transport means that transports paper having a recording surface, on which an image is formed using an aqueous ink, along a transport path; heating means that is provided along the transport path; guide means that is provided along the transport path and supports the paper using a guide surface having suction holes; and suction means that suctions the paper through the suction holes of the guide surface, a suction region and a non-suction region are set when the paper is transported, the suction region in which the paper is suctioned by the suction means is set upstream of a first position of the transport path, the non-suction region is set downstream of the first position, and the first position is set at a position in which a residual water content in the paper is 1.0 g/m.sup.2 to 3.0 g/m.sup.2.
