Examples of the present disclosure relate generally to a printing apparatus and, more particularly, to apparatuses, systems, and methods for printing utilizing laser print head and reactive media.
Printing apparatus
A roll sheet with a continuous sheet wound in a roll form is rotated in a forward direction to supply the sheet to a printing unit. A sensor whose output is changed in accordance with a distance between the sensor and the sheet is used. A rotation direction of the roll sheet is switched from an opposite direction to the forward direction on the basis of the output of the sensor during rotation of the roll sheet in the opposite direction.
Digital printing device comprising a print media advancement system
Digital printing device having a print media advancement system, and comprising: a sliding surface (3) of the print media, arranged at a printing area with above a printing module of the digital printing device; means for dragging (4) the print media, arranged downstream and/or upstream the printing area and arranged to make the print media advance in an advancement direction (x) above said sliding surface (3); wherein said sliding surface (3) comprises blowing portions (35) destined to realize an air cushion between sliding surface and print media (100). The sliding surface further comprises at least a suction portion (30), arranged to realise a depression by locally putting the print media near said sliding surface.
LIQUID EJECTION APPARATUS, WINDING CONTROL METHOD, AND COMPUTER READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM
A liquid ejection apparatus includes a conveying unit, a winding unit, a printing unit, and a rotation control unit. The conveying unit is configured to intermittently convey a printing medium by a predetermined feed amount. The winding unit is configured to wind the printing medium conveyed by the conveying unit. The printing unit is configured to perform printing on the conveyed printing medium. The rotation control unit is configured to control the winding unit to rotate in a winding direction at a predetermined timing after the conveying unit has started to convey the printing medium intermittently, and then cause the winding unit to rotate in a reverse direction opposite to the winding direction.
MEDIA HEIGHT NON-UNIFORMITY DETECTION
In an example of the disclosure, power of a first light beam emitted across a web media along a length of the roller is measured utilizing a first optical transmitter and first optical receiver pair situated adjacent to a roller. Power of a second light beam emitted across a length of the roller is measured utilizing a second optical transmitter and second optical receiver pair situated adjacent to the roller. A media height non-uniformity is identified based upon of the measurement of the power of the first light beam and the measurement of the power of the second light beam.
RECORDING APPARATUS
A recording apparatus includes a containing portion that contains a rolled sheet obtained by winding a sheet and a recording portion that records an image on the sheet fed from the rolled sheet contained in the containing portion and further includes an opening/closing member that can be movable between an open position at which the containing portion is opened and a closed position at which the containing portion is closed and a first guiding portion provided in the opening/closing member to guide the rolled sheet to the containing portion in a case where the opening/closing member is at the open position.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING ELASTIC BODY HAVING TWO-LAYER STRUCTURE, CYLINDER MEMBER, AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A method for manufacturing an elastic body having a two-layer structure includes: forming a first elastic body on a provisional cylinder body having a substantially circular shape in cross section; and forming a second elastic body integrally with the first elastic body, which has been formed on the provisional cylinder body.
Inkjet Loom Weaving Machine
A system for treatment of thread includes a weft thread printer having an intake positioned to receive a weft thread from a source, as well as an encoder that is configured to detect a length of the weft thread as the weft thread moves through the weft thread printer along a travel path. The system also includes a printhead positioned to apply coatings of a plurality of colors to the weft thread and yield a treated weft thread, as well as an outlet positioned to pass the treated weft thread to a loom.
Label printer
A label printer includes a print head, a transporting roller, a peeling roller, and a control unit, wherein the control unit controls a current value to be supplied to a peeling motor configured to rotate the peeling roller such that a transport force of the peeling roller for transporting the backing sheet is equal to or greater than a minimum force required for peeling the label and is greater than a maximum friction force between the peeling roller and the backing sheet, and the maximum friction force and a maximum friction force between the transporting roller and the label sheet are set such that the maximum friction force between the peeling roller and the backing sheet is equal to or smaller than a transport force of the peeling roller that sets a transport error of the label sheet by the transporting roller to be within an acceptable value.
Printer
A printer for pulling out a paper wound in a form of a wound roll is disclosed. The printer may comprise a cartridge configured to accommodate the paper, a housing in which the cartridge is mounted, a cover moveable between an open position for opening the top surface of the housing and a closed position for closing the top surface of the housing, a first printing unit mounted to the housing, and a second printing unit mounted to the cover. The paper is pulled out between the first printing unit and the second printing unit, and the second printing unit has a decurling part formed thereon. The decurling part comes into surface-contact with the paper on the upper side of the paper in the process of pulling out the paper when the cover is in the closed position.
