Arrangement with a receipt printer arranged in a housing
An arrangement includes a receipt printer for printing a receipt arranged in a housing. The housing includes a pivoting lid which in an open state allows access to the receipt printer and in a closed state prevents access to the receipt printer. The lid has an opening through which a receipt printed by the receipt printer can be output in the closed state. The arrangement has a receipt output unit which in the closed state is arranged in the opening of the lid opposite to the receipt printer, at least a first receipt guiding unit and at least a first elastically deformable element for spring-mounting at least one component of the first receipt guiding unit. The receipt printer has a second receipt guiding unit. The first receipt guiding unit is engaged with the second receipt guiding unit when the lid is moved from the open state into the closed state.
THERMAL PRINTER AND METHOD FOR CORRECTING PRINTING POSITIONS
An information process device according to an embodiment includes a thermal head that prints on paper at positions along a width direction based on a reference position. The sensor is at a sensor position in the width direction and detects marks on paper being conveyed by a conveyance unit. The controller controls the conveyance unit to convey a confirmation sheet and then detects a position of a mark on the confirmation sheet with the sensor. The detected position corresponds to the sensor position. The controller next controls the conveyance unit and the thermal head to print a line on a sheet corresponding to the sensor position. The controller is configured to receive a corrected sensor position based on a measured distance of the printed line to an edge of the sheet and update the print reference position accordingly.
CONVEYING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING DEVICE
A conveying device includes a controller configured to control conveyance of a workpiece. The controller includes a first calculator configured to calculate a first roll estimated radius of a first roll varied as a first support shaft rotates. The controller further includes a second calculator configured to calculate a second roll estimated radius of a second roll varied as a second support shaft rotates. The controller also includes a first support shaft drive controller configured to cause a first support shaft driving motor to rotary drive at a first angular velocity according to the first roll estimated radius. The controller further includes a second support shaft drive controller configured to cause a second support shaft driving motor to rotary drive at a second angular velocity according to the second roll estimated radius.
LIQUID EJECTION APPARATUS, LIQUID EJECTION SYSTEM, AND LIQUID EJECTION METHOD
A liquid ejection apparatus includes a plurality of liquid ejection head units that eject liquid onto a conveyed object at different positions along a conveying path; a first support member and a second support member that are respectively provided at an upstream side and a downstream side of a landing position of liquid ejected by a corresponding liquid ejection head unit; a first detection unit that is installed between the first support member and the second support member and is configured to detect a position of the conveyed object in a direction orthogonal to a conveying direction of the conveyed object; a second detection unit that is installed upstream of the first detection unit; and a movement control unit that moves each liquid ejection head unit based on a plurality of detection results output by the first detection unit and/or the second detection unit.
Printing apparatus and control method therefor
A printing apparatus comprises a conveyance control unit which controls conveyance of printing sheets so that a trailing edge of a preceding sheet as a printing sheet precedingly fed from the stacking unit and a leading edge of a succeeding sheet as a printing sheet succeedingly fed from the stacking unit overlap each other; and a skew correction unit which performs skew correction of the succeeding sheet while the succeeding sheet overlaps the preceding sheet by the conveyance control unit. The skew correction unit makes the leading edge of the succeeding sheet abut against the conveyance roller during a time from an end of a last line feed operation by the conveyance roller for printing on the preceding sheet by the printing unit to start of a next conveyance operation.
CARTRIDGE, THERMAL PRINTER USING THE CARTRIDGE, MEDIUM FOR USE WITH THE THERMAL PRINTER, AND METHOD FOR CREATING LAMINATED MEDIUM
A cartridge includes: a cartridge case; a first supply portion including a heat-sensitive medium; and a second supply portion including an adhesive medium. The heat-sensitive medium includes a base material, a plurality of heat-sensitive layers, and at least one heat-insulating layer in a stacked state. The heat-sensitive layers include: a first heat-sensitive layer for producing a first color when heated above a first temperature; and a second heat-sensitive layer for producing a second color when heated above a second temperature higher than. the first temperature. The cartridge case includes: an opening for exposing the heat-sensitive medium; and a guide part positioned downstream of the opening in a conveying direction of the heat-sensitive medium for guiding the heat-sensitive medium and the adhesive medium bonded to a surface of the heat-sensitive medium opposite the base material with respect to the plurality of heat-sensitive layers.
LIQUID EJECTION APPARATUS, LIQUID EJECTION SYSTEM, AND LIQUID EJECTION METHOD
A liquid ejection apparatus is provided that includes a plurality of liquid ejection head units that are configured to eject liquid onto a conveyed object being conveyed; a detection unit that is provided with respect to each liquid ejection head unit of the plurality of liquid ejection head units and is configured to output a detection result indicating at least one of a position, a moving speed, and an amount of movement of the conveyed object with respect to a conveying direction of the conveyed object; and a control unit configured to control each liquid ejection head unit among the plurality of liquid ejection head units to eject liquid at a timing based on a plurality of the detection results of a plurality of the detection units.
Tape cartridge
A tape cartridge mounted to a tape printer includes a ribbon feeding core on which an ink ribbon is wound so as to be capable of being fed and a ribbon winding core that winds the ink ribbon fed from the ribbon feeding core. In the tape cartridge, the ribbon feeding core includes a core body that winds the ink ribbon and a shaft engaging part formed at an end portion of the core body and engaged with a feeding-side driving shaft of the tape printer. The shaft engaging part protrudes in an axial direction of the core body from an end surface of the core body and is formed in a crown shape in which a plurality of convex portions and a plurality of concave portions are alternately arranged side by side in a circumferential direction.
WEB LOADER, CONVEYOR, DRYER, AND PRINTER
A web loader includes a web holder configured to hold a web, a traction member configured to hold the web holder and travel along a loading path of the web, a drive rotation body configured to drive the traction member to travel, and a limiter configured to limit a drive force applied to the drive rotation body.
